DaveInNashville
Go to the patient office search page at http://patft.uspto.gov/netahtml/PTO/srchnum.htm then enter 55535 and when the screen appears, click "Images." This has absolutely nothing to do with speakers, but having one might be a good conversation piece........ Have a good week!
Daddy Dee
You're right. Hardly anybody has an improved lard lamp. I'd never even heard of one until I went to the link.
LarryC
Well now, if you'd taken a tour of lighthouses on the Oregon coast like I did last month, you'd have learned that some early lighthouses used lard to fuel their lamps. Perhaps coal oil or kerosene came later. We were shown a beautiful copper tub made in the Midwest in the 19th century, where it was loaded up with lard and shipped to Oregon. Sorry, I didn't take a picture. Larry
WMcD
It shouldn't be too surprising. Candles have been made from lard, probably back to prehistoric times. Incidently sometimes you see antique signs for business which make candles and soap. This is because both use animal fat. Gil
Mighty Favog
Would that be in the Patent Office too?[]
