Wardsweb
I want to thank Joe (Cornman) for having me over today. We had a great time listening to his system, rolling in my Bottlehead 6DN7 and even my LM3875 chip amp. Good time, good music, good fun. You have to make it down to my place sometime. Cornman
The pleasure was all mine Luther. Your the first true Audio aficionado to listen to my system, it was great to hear your opinion. Great fun comparing your Amp's and mine in my own listening space. I heard a lot of differnt equipment at the Audio Karma Fest, but it doesnt compare to hearing it in your own living room. It seem's to take own so much more meaning & depth in my efforts to understand this fascinating hobby. Should any of you have the opportunity to see & hear Luthers DIY amp's dont miss it. There not only beautiful work's of craftsmanship; dollar per doller spent they produce fantastic sound. Sure did inspire me to take a shot at a DIY project. Looking forward too the next time Luther. tillmbil
Looks like the Ipod was kicking huh? How does the 930 power the CW's? I have an HK430 on some KG3.5's hooked to the computer MP3 list. The bass they produce is amazing. I hear the walls shaking from the other room.
jbsl
Cornman If you have any free time over the Labor day weekend let me know. I have a 3 day weekend (Sat-Mon) even if it is just to meet for lunch some where. If anyone in Austin wants to get together let me know. jbsl@ev1.net
