wuzzzer Posted October 7, 2006 Share Posted October 7, 2006 Somehow I find the sub 2 second 0-60 time hard to believe, especially since its closer to 1 1/2 seconds. On a related note, I remember reading in a car mag a while back that the fastest cars in the world (the top fuel dragsters, funny cars or whatever they're called) have 0-60 times of .6 seconds and 0-100 times of .9 seconds. For less than that though you can go 0 to 100mph in less than 1 second , and 0 to 300+mph in less than 5 seconds on the drag strip . Pick your poison , top fuel Funny Car or Dragster . Just be prepared to pull more positive G's than the space shuttle on takeoff . And pulling the chutes at the finish line you will experience the same number of negative G's . Do not pull the chutes while you are under power at the finish line ! That has been known to detatch retinas . Just ask Don Garlits .
