rivieraranch
My listening room is 12 by 14 feet and presently I am using RB5-II's placed in front of the shorter wall. Bringing them close to the wall enhances the bass but narrows the depth of soundstage. Because of a cabinet along the left wall they can be placed only about 7 or 8 feet apart. The music lacks a "bottom end." I am tempted to switch to RB-75's and maybe add a subwoofer, but at that point, I might as well go floor standing. Which floor stander would perform well in a smaller listening room given the limits of placement the room presents. RF-5, RF-7, RF-63, RF-82; RF-83? Cal Blacksmith
Uh, not on your list but I have Cornwalls in a smaller room than that. Can't help much with the fine R series, I stay with Heritage.
Zen Traveler
I am not a 2 channel person but have a small, <300 sq ft Ht where I have everything listed below. It sounds awesome and I wouldn't go with anything smaller. I have no opinion on the RF-83, but would choose the RF-7 over everything else you mentioned. The RB-75's are a good speaker, but take up as much room as the RF-7 with stands.
jcmusic
I have khorns in a room just a bit bigger than that. While I might not be reaching their full potential I listen at low to moderate volume, and would not consider changing. Jay
