Electrovoice T35 Crossover Schematic anybody ?

Hello

Does anybody have a copy of the original crossover schematic ElectroVoice proposed for their T35 tweeter ?

Since they are plenty of t35 version of crossover points on this forum but none coming from EV, I thought it might be helpfull to have one.

Any netwrok "segment" suggested for a specific tweeter will not include the most important factors needed to design a network --> The rest of the speaker! Networks are designed for a complete speaker, not a specific single driver. I don't think what you are looking for exists except in general turns such as "recommended crossover frequency".

MAN! That's some tweeter protector! Have you ever heard of anybody using that thing? I can't say I like that idea very much.

I can't say I have listened to a speaker that had one.....I can say that when these show up on ebay...they sell for almost a 100 bucks.

The tweeter protectors were used in the Sentry III and Sentry IV. In the IV, they're bolted to the midrange horn.

In P. A. applications, I've usually been glad they're there.

That looks pretty easy to service. Lets see, 4 hours with a heat gun and acetone...

I take it you just replace the whole thing when the caps go bad.

Yeah, when they are bad you need a new one. Not even the box or can is really salvageable.
