Klipsch at Best Buy vs. Reference Series?

Yeah, mass market seems to be a degrading thing now a days and since the early 80's. When stuff went mass market in early 80's, that's when pioneer, marantz, and all the other good companies went downhill. Not all companies went down, but quality decreased, and quantity increased. A sad time in audio.

BTW, reference speakers are made in china too. Definately props on the rf-25. I only deal with private shops anymore. BB is terrible.

Selling cheap, Chinese made speakers at Best Buy may have saved the Klipsch company financially. It hurt the company's reputation, and rightfully so. Also, selling plastic computer and iPod speakers didn't help.

The Reference Series are a different breed. Higher end, made in USA (?), etc.

only the rf-63 and 83 are made in america and their counterparts to some degree (the rf83 series etc) and the heritage, everything else is built in china.
