Christmas DVD

I think that The Snowman (1982) is a classic and still the best of them all. Don't confuse this with Frosty the Snowman or others. Simple and beautiful animation with no dialogue. There is an exceptional and magical musical piece in it - " Walking in the Air". It's from 1982 so there are no HT effects or anything like that. If you haven't seen it, don't pass up on it. Spend your last dollar (if you have to) to buy it and watch it with someone you love.

I loved the Polar Express. We've even got one of those talking christmas ornament things with Tom Hanks on the tree.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra was rockin' last night. It has been awhile since I've been to a big concert (I think ticket prices are way too high so I don't go much anymore), but they had more lights and pyro than I've seen since the 80s. LED lighting has also really been embraced. We were on the floor about 9th row back, and my youngest daughter got a kick out of the snow falling on her head.
