Coytee
The bass bin housing the Jub woofer is worthless dow very deep. The f113 has major output at 16hz,how capable is the Jubilee bass bin this low? [] Oh, probably not capable at all []. Just speaking from a "seat of the pants" perspective though... I'd always wanted a sub with my LaScalas and then Khorns. The Jubilees have freed me from that want altogether!. Can it get better than them (Jubilees)? yes, sure. I just wonder if it's worth the additional expense (to me) to get the incremental gain from a sub... (answer is currently no) Trust me Ear... c'mon down & give em a test drive. I'll supply the Classic Cokes!! []
TheEAR
Coytee, I have ZERO doubt the Jub can belt loud and clean and has tremendous impact. These are after all some of the most dynamic speakers on this planet. If you do not listen to recordings of pipe organs too often(and who does...???) then I understand your point perfectly. Hear and feel is the only way to recreate the majestic pipe organ, and for this a couple of JL subs or a multidriver IB does the job. So far I am in awe of thee subs(that provoke fear and ...hate and childish name calling in some [] ) Who said a compact sub cannot be everything to all people? I thought so too, even large mains capable in room to almost 20hz benefit from a top flight high end sub.I sound like a broken record now. I will stop,or the admins may start to wonder if I do not work for Jay L Aud Eee O .

bhendrix
Thanks, Michael !!! I, too, am interested in the answer to the original question. As you know, Michael, these are my sub options for the Cornwall / Heresy HT we spoke about on the phone on your first day as an official Klipsch Expert. TheSoundBroker
The f113 is the finest quality(sound quality) sub on the market right now.Followed by the Velo HGS18/DD18 and then in third place the SVS Ultra/2 and forth the Klipsch THX subs and Aerial SW12,Revel B15 in fifth. Um... Don't forget the Danley Labs.
