Allan Songer
This is a good record, maybe even a GREAT record--one that I have pulled out at least once a month for the past 15 or so years, but this wasn't even a truly mint copy! Sounds like VG+/NM to me . . . Atomic madness...Quiet Kenny
oldtimer
That's 180 plays, better find a new one.
Allan Songer
That's 180 plays, better find a new one. If played on the right equipment and CLEAN, high quality pressings can be played HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of times with little percievable wear . . . I know that's hard for some people to believe, but it's true . . .
oldtimer
I perceive you are correct and know what you are talking about. You have to realize the three necessary conditions as pointed out.
Chicago_Pete
The most I ever paid for an LP was almost $200. I have a couple dozen knocking on the $100 mark. No problem paying the money but I am absolutely sure that if I have a fatal grabber my wife will garage sale them for 50 cents each or just toss them. Almost enough to render an early demise just thinking about it.
kaiser SET say
I believe you Allan but that price is still obscene[] My brother in law just bought me the re-mastered 180g pressing of Creedence's Cosmos Factory and it sounds fantastic, I can only imagine what it would sound like on Max's rig[]

Chicago_Pete
Oldtimer, I have tried to explain the value in this pile, but as John Wayne would say, "She's short on ears and long on mouth".
