Guest " "
If you are heading for HT, couple hundred more on ebay would get you 5 channels, decoder, pre-amp, in the form of a 5.1 reciever.
wuzzzer
No, more than happy with my 2 channel setup right now. I've just been keeping my eyes out for an external amp so I can use my h/k as a pre-amp.
jt1stcav
The Crown or either Hafler amps would be my choices...I'd pick the Crown just because of their sonic characteristics, build quality, and reliability (plus my younger bro has two Crowns that sound absolutely fantastic with his modded Cornwalls).[Y]

colterphoto1
I have a JBL/Urie but think it's a different one, 6260 maybe. Duke might like that small one to mate with his though.
PrestonTom
The crown and Hafler are both fine. The prices are just a bit high, but if the condition is good .... Incidentally the other models of the Hafler (and perhaps this one also) can be improved with about $25 and an afternoon (caps on the power supply and grounding). It would be a big bang for the buck. Good Luck, -Tom
DrWho
It would be a big bang for the buck. Hopefully not literally! []
