mark1101
350wpc / 8ohms. Supposedly built to sound like Mark Levinson ML-2. Wondering how it would sound with Khorns. A friend is selling one for $300.00, mint condition.
Flason
Had one. Lots of hiss and that was using a HK730 as the pre. The TFM-35X I had at the time too was dead quiet with the HK.
mark1101
Thanks. I also did a search here in 2 Ch. and found many negative comments about that specific amp and Klipsch combinations.
jwc
Mark. I have the m1.0t. Same amp with less watts. Yes it has hiss. I use mine as a subwoofer amp. Has power. jc
michael hurd
Heard the M1.0t and the M1.5t on klipschorns and also belles. Loud! Slight hiss.
jt1stcav
Back in '80 I experienced 4 Klipschorns driven by 2 M-500t Carver amps in a huge music room (a Khorn in each corner). I don't recall any hiss, but the sound was spectacular to say the least! I also owned several M-400t "cube" amps and a TFM-35x and used them with the Cornwalls, and again I never heard any hiss. Either my ears are shot and couldn't hear it, or I was one lucky bastard.[6]
