Mike Lindsey
What the heck happened? I sent a pair of mint oiled oak Chorus II's to Connecticut a few years bag via UPS ground and they got there fine. I did have the boxes custom made by a guy at Mail Boxes, Etc, and he did a fantastic job. Mike

oldbuckster
That's really a shame............whatever you buy, buy local, or make the road trip.................La Scala's are pretty nice, don't know how they would match up.........they might be louder..........Forte's,. Chorus, or Cornwalls.................
DrWho
I believe there were some problems with the earlier KLF's where the wood supplier changed some chemical in the wood that made the glue less effective - coupled with a crappy shipping job I wouldn't be surprised to see it just fall apart. Were you able to get it glued back to normal? The Forte II, Chorus II, Cornwall, etc...are all great speakers to look into.

I'm not sure what you mean by "Would they work good with the klf-30"? Are you going to use them in a surround system? If you're simply looking to add another pair of speakers to listen to at the same time, I can think of many people on here that would discourage you from doing that. There's many reasons why it usually doesn't sound very good. Now, if you're looking to get more speakers to use as surround speakers that's a different story. Richard Labonte
I had the same problem with my klf 30's,I used pl-400 with 26 pcs of 3/4x3/4"x3"wood,and added them to the inside corners of both cbinets. Then I pre drilled and added1"#8 screws to fronts and backs,"LOOKS FACTORY" They went from wimpy,to "BRICK SHIT HOUSES" I love them!!
