Parrot
Good idea, unless you're solely into the gear. Here's another one that should be good: http://cgi.ebay.com/MFSL-UHQR-SEALED-LP-PINK-FLOYD-DARK-SIDE-OF-THE-MOON_W0QQitemZ190077509824QQihZ009QQcategoryZ306QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
lwhaples
What are you getting for a TT ? Larry
DoubleJ
Larry: I purchased a Music Hall 2.1 that Mark had laying around. One of the reasons why I choose PF Echoes as my first vinyl purchase is that I know the CD very well. This will help me to determine each of the 2 sources..good and bad points. MrDecibel
I know the audio world has some diehard LP record fans. The results of your evaluation of the two sources will be interesting
kaiser SET say
JJ I too have been doing some back and forth AB'ing a new vinyl purchase from Music Direct which is the Flaming Lips orange limited edition vinyl of "At war with the mystics"and I don't care one iota what the digicamp says I here way deeper in to the music on this vinyl than my CD copy! I also picked up the yellow single of "It overtakes Me" which also has an alternate version of "Free Radicals" that just rocks[] Good choice on that first LP[] I got the 30th Anni 200gm copy of Darkside last Christmas from my brother-in-law and as many times as I've listened to this album in my lifetime I just never seem to tire of it especially this copy[]

Chicago_Pete
OB I could put together a pretty nice system for $1600!
Deang
You should dump the music and buy more gear.
