M.A.N.630 Posted February 28, 2007 Share Posted February 28, 2007 I recently found a pair of 85 La Scalas with blown tweeters. I had the tweeters rebuilt but the speakers were missing the original wiring . I would like to keep them as original as possible and and match the existing white/red wire. Any info or advice appreciated. The La Scalas will be replacing my JBL L100's. This is my first adventure into the Land of KlipschMania. DaveInNashville Posted March 1, 2007 Share Posted March 1, 2007 I also rebuilt a pair of LaScala's. Had to rebuild both tweeters and one of the mid-range drivers. As part of the rebuild, I put in ALK crossovers. In doing so, I tossed the striped lamp cord and put in Monster Cable instead. Enjoy dem speakers! To make matters worse, I still had the wire laying around until a couple weeks ago when I stumbled upon it again and wondered why I still had it. It's gone now.
