And I'm not really seeing the same ridges in it as the black one has. I'd bet alot of money they didn't come that way from the factory! No way. It's either a foam surround or a "rubber" surround that's cot some 'crud' on the surface. The Forte on the right has a reverse half-roll rubber surround, that's the way they came from the factory. For that matter, so does the one on the left. The grey color is due to surface oxidation of the rubber. Armor -All will probably clean it up OK. How did it happen? I think the guy might own one of those negative-ion generators sold as air-fresheners. They produce ozone witch will cause the type of damage seen here.
