matthew2
The Rf3's at my dealer cost $999.98. I wanted to get a pair, but the only one left was in bad condition. Now I can get an RF3II. Why does it cost $1400?? Its in canadian money, but it shouldnt be THAT FAR off the Amereican MSRP, right? PS. Is the RF3II higher quality now? Is the crossover higher quality, and does the speaker sound diffrent now? Thanks. ------------------ Matthew

oogins
That's quite a bit. My dealer offers the RF3's at $820 and the RF3II's at $995. Maybe you should take a little road trip down here to Calgary and get them. j/k I wouldn't drive 8 hours for a better deal on speakers. Can you haggle with your dealer or are the prices set in stone? matthew2
Thanks guys, glad to know that I'm not being ripped off. I DO believe that it is still a lot of money. Why do cables make it cost so much? I'll ask for $1200..see what they say in the next month or so. ------------------ Matthew
boa12
cables are like a shoestring sale when the shoe guy sells u some shoes. high commission to him & figures u won't notice. get a cost breakdown & haggle on each seperately. ------------------ My Home Systems Page
TheEAR
What is this? The dealer asks you for FULL price! TO HELL WITH THESE BOZOS When I know what I want I walk into a store and say what is your cash and carry price,if I dont get tax in and a good deal plus some quality cables thrown in I walk out and will make sure all know this place should be avoided like a stinking toilet. I never pay retail prices and NEVER will.As simple as that.HE HE Just dont buy from these clowns, find another dealer. THEY NEED YOUR MONEY,you have a choice you can buy in another store.THEY WILL NOT GET THE PROFIT,their loss. TheEAR(s) Now theears
