Heresy II Squawkers

Hi can anybody help? I bought a pair of heresy II's in November and I've been working on them for what seems ever since. I've twice had to repair the squawker in one speaker, so I replaced the crossovers as well to make sure that there was no way they were being damaged via the wrong signal being sent etc....

Anyway to cut a long story short the same driver is broken again, I suspect there's more wrong with it than a re-coil and a clean can fix. I may send it away again, but I suspect I'll spend far too long listening suspiciously at it, so I'm trying to locate a replacement.

I've tried Klipsch, but they're not interested as I'm in the UK. They referred me to their European distributor, who I have sent several emails to in the last 4 months, but have had no replies. Has anyone got any drivers they'd be willing to sell or be able to point me in the right direction, I'd be like a puppy with two tails if you can!

Thanks

Ok, this is what I've done so far!

The driver has had a new voice coil, the speakers have had new crossovers courtesy of Bob Crites, these included new wires. I've checked all the wiring for being in the right place. I've swapped the driver from one side to another, and the problem follows the driver. My suspicion is that the diaphragm on the driver might have gone. But having had two attempts to repair and spent about £80 plus Bob's crossovers, I'm rather anxious to get it sorted this time. Heresy's are quite rare over here so these were an imported ebay 'bargain!!!!'

I could have bought a pair of Cornwalls for what I've spent on them, but I'm not giving up....

Sorry Arfandbark, I've just opened them up now, and there's another mystery, there's no number on the driver but it looks like this. So I'm now hoping this is a real Klipsch driver, because the crossovers in there weren't for sure. There is a number on the horn itself that says K-701, but I presume that's the part number for the horn.
