garymd
You have to understand that the folks here have more opportunities to buy Klipsch speakers than anyone in the world and for $1100 they need to be ABSOLUTELY perfect! Not only perfect, but they should have a nice veneer which is preferable to black painted C-BRs. Also, those don't even seem to include risers. As Frzn said, they're $500-$600 speakers. Not everyone here likes the Crites upgraded tweets either, myself included. Just figure out a way to keep them. They're great sounding speakers. You'll never get your asking price and you'll end up buying another pair down the road anyway. The folks here are looking for bargains and won't pay top dollar unless they're something really special.
IB Slammin
Steven, you've been in here long enough that you know what the unwritten code is about selling stuff in here to fellow forum members. Post it here first and be reasonable with forum members. But, then again, its a free country, and there are no set "rules" regarding sales. Additionally, being publicly combative in here while defending your selling price is a questionable tactic. The whole vinegar vs. honey thing. Carl. Carl, Has to be a joke. IB Slammin
Speakers can be obsequious? ob·se·qui·ous FlashVars="soundpath=http://img.tfd.com/hm/mp3/O0013500" menu="false" width="10" height="13" wmode="transparent" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer">(b-skw-s, b-) adj. Full of or exhibiting servile compliance; fawning. [Middle English, from Latin obsequisus, from obsequium, compliance, from obsequ, to comply : ob-, to; see ob- + sequ, to follow; see sekw-1 in Indo-European roots.] Timer, Please. Exactly what would I be doing, .......If, (God forbid) I wanted to participate in the act of fawning, Would that act be legal in this country? Has a nice ring to it, just not sure it's worth jail time. Could you explain the procedure in detail? [] tc
