stereohermit
Mid horn from Klipsch KP-450...?
djk
SL copy of K400 in fiberglass with EV 1824 driver, both OK. SL WA4000 tweeter, EV T35 magnet and diaphragm. Better dispersion than a T35. Woofer cabinet design is EV Eliminator, similar to LS in the bass department, rolls off below 100hz ('lean' or 'none', depending on your attitude). http://archives.telex.com/archives/EV/Speakers/EDS/Eliminator%20Series%20EDS.pdf Crossover is probably poor. They look very rough, you could build yourself something better for about $500 in materials.
Daddy Dee
djk, thanks for that review. I was sure wondering what I was looking at.
DizRotus
I agree with djk. The components are Speakerlab (EV) and are probably OK with the possible exception of the crossover. The design is neither Klipsch nor Speakerlab but, as djk points out, an apparent copy of an EV design.
