banerji
Dear Klipsch experts, I am caught deciding between RF 52 and RF 62. After seeing the specifications , I noticed that even though the cabinet size of the 52 is smaller, it digs much lower than the 62. 52 is rated at 34 Hz and 62 at 38. I liked the sound of 52 a bit more as well. However, I am getting both at the same price !! Can you clarify the Specification issue ?? Which one is the better ? I like the size of the 52 and the sound is " probably " the same, except for the wattage. Am I correct. Any help and advice would give me peace in the decision making process. Guest " "
"Which one is the better" my expert opinion (based on 37 years of building loud speakers) is that better is in the ears of the listener.....if you like it....it is better.
jwc
I haven't heard the 62's. I have a pair of 52's. I bought them for the smaller footprint and to play at low volume in my exercise room. They do dig low. jc
wuzzzer
4Hz difference is not "much deeper." Like others have said, get the ones that sound best to you. However, bass response isn't everything when it comes to speakers, especially a difference of only 4Hz.
Groomlakearea51
"Footprint" is important; since they are so close, which one works better for you not only sonically, but from the size point of view.
