Hi Larry. Good eye! That's my trusty Ariston Audio RD-11s with Micro Seiki tonearm. I think she could stand a tune-up. I've closed up the JBLs and I am listening to some classical FM on them right now. Its a very different sound from my Fortes. It reminds me of when I had a single Electro Voice Regency. Another cool thing is that the JBLs are definitely a pair with left and right speakers.

ALRIGHT! THEY ARE IN THE HOUSE.

I HAVEN'T EVEN EATEN YET.

I will just get right down to brass tacks here and tell you what kinda nut is in these shells. JBL LE14A Woofers and surprisingly LE20 Tweeters...no horns! The crossover is the LX8. Okay, now I either still have you or I've lost ya. Here's the nice little surpise...these C36s sit atop genuine Herman Miller legs. Im off to eat now [stomach growls]. I DID take photos so I will post some if you are curious.

Great score, the woofers alone are worth at least twice that price and have great punch. Never cared much for the LE20's. I had a pair of L100's back in the day and always felt the 20's were the weak link. As I said before, there were a boat load of driver options for the various cabinets.

Not sure about the LE20. The L100 had an LE-5 for the midrange (breaks up easily) and a 2214H fro the woofer. Which version of the L100 are you talkin' about?
