gigbyt
I just got a scott 299a today from fed-ex. the seller packaged the unit extremely well but fed-ex still managed to break something. the fuse holder assy is broken into pieces. can i run this without the holder? the fuse looks ok. is there someplace to get this part? thanx in advance. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v312/roderash/IMG_0491.jpg'>

Marvel
You can get a replacement from Parts Express, or other electronics parts houses. http://www.partsexpress.com Search for fuse holders Bruce
HarryO
There is more than one size. Ordering aftermarket may be tough getting the correct one. Harry
HarryO
I can't tell by the pics but you may have to have a complete one fitted to the Scott. Used may be a good option for correct fit. Harry
gigbyt
Does anyone have a pic of a Scott 299 fuse holder?. An overall length would be cool too. thanx, Gig.
jcmusic
Get in touch with Craig at NOS Valves he is the man when it comes to Scott equipment. Jay
NOSValves
You have to replace the entire fuse holder assembly. Absolutely do not plug the amp in until its replaced or a huge spark show will surely follow along with a hell of a jolt if your touching the amp. By the way often those fuse holders are broke by the person packing or unpacking the gear not shipping company. They tend to be real brittle.
