I believe they were built in the late 80's. The oak cabinets are in very good shape. These speakers are big and loud. Approx. 38" tall x 25 1/2" wide x 15 1/2 " deep. I have a pair of CW II's which I use as rears but they sound great for 2-ch as well. Let me know what you think of them after you get a chance to hear them. Due to my schedule, I could only go pick them up on Sat. and the seller had someone who could come by on Friday evening...and bought them. I hope it was a member who got them.
