BTW someone, once, had commented that Bell and Thuras did not claim the back chamber as an invention. I think that is true here based on a very quick read of the claims. Also mentioned, it could have been in a later patent document but I'm not aware of it. Also, I believe the WE 555 with a more sophisticated phase plug was the subject of another patent.
