Quartets Tweeters in Forte II

You don't have to do that, all you need to do is replace the faulty diaphrams in them which is relatively inexpensive. Contact Klipsch parts 1-800-Klipsch or BEC (Bob Crites) here on the forum for the replacement parts.

Remove the 4 phillips screws on the tweeter, angle it out of the hole be careful with the foam gasket. Remove the leads and make sure they don't fall back into the cabinet. There are three nuts that hold the composite horn flange to the magnet assembly, simply remove them and the diaphram comes out. There are three pins that will keep the replacement diaphram centered when you replace it.

To see if the FII & Quartet tweeter are the same do search in discontinued products and it will list the drivers used. I know they both use the same diaphram.
