Islander
Why not check him out on Youtube? It's far from hi-fi, but it'll give you an idea what his music's about.http://youtube.com/results?search_query=Jaco+Pastorius&search_type=

Guest " "
swapping copies of cd's.....I guess if the CD's are XX years old they would no longer be protected by copy right laws....not sure how old that would have to be.

Islander
I bought a few old LPs that were marked "Studio Only. Not for Re-sale."

Not looking to argue, if it is wrong to do what I ask on here I'll kill the thread !!!! No I'm not saying I know the answer. I think I can loan you my original CD's since there is no DRM as is with pay for down loads. But I would think that me offering to make copies for free, trade, or otherwise, might be a copyright issue. There has been a lot of folks lately who offer back up services of CD's and the CD's are labeled "you are paying for a backup service, By paying for this copy you assume legal responsibility for compliance with copyright laws". oldtimer
Poor man. No one wants to share on his limited choice of format. At least life goes on. Such a brave, brave man.
