oldtimer
One of my Forte II's has a loose binding post. Is it simply a matter of a phillips head screwdriver taking out six screws, pulling it out a little bit and tightening a nut on the other side? Any potential pitfalls? Groomlakearea51
Theoretically, unless there's a crack on the plate you cannot see until you pull it out from the hole. 5/16" wrench comes to mind, but don't quote me!!! LOL!!
oldtimer
Well I braved it today. Its difficult to get into the spot underneath the crossover board. Wasn't brave enough to unscrew the board. 3/8ths nor 5/16ths seemed to fit. Maybe it's metric? Did not try metric though. Used a long flat head to push torque the nut tight. I am not completely satisfied but it is much better for now.
Groomlakearea51
Could be 11/32", or metrics as you surmised. That's gotta be a pain!!
