If you like it, make sure you say THANK YOU!

First file is up. 78rpm around 80 years old of Kid Ory's band doing Muskrat Ramble right recorded to the MR-1 in DSF then transcoded to 24/88.2. http://63.250.239.168/mallette/Muskrat RambleOry.wav

I probably can't help if you have a problem as this is Shawn's server and I am following his instructions.

Obviously, you will need a computer with a high res chip set or card for playback...better is better.

Let me know what you think...

Dave

PS - Fox Vol 2 is uploading now, but it's a gig and will take a while. Link to follow...

Wow...from listening to my grandpa's 78's out of the victrola to this is amazing! First the music is very lively, and the trumpet/trombone/clairnet sound phenominal together. I am very impressed by the playback system as like I mentioned before the wood horn in the victrola doesn't produce much bass...who knows how much I was missing from the Wabash Cannonball...Finally the recording, as always very well done and I am impressed that an ipod sized device can do such a fine job. My brother is always looking for a new way to record himself at venues...deffinatly a recommendation. Thanks to Dave and Shawn.
