DU73
Very interesting I think a forum member (Yurab) has a similar layout in his home I think, clearly not on the grand scale as the link you have provided. multiple screens on 3 adjoining walls, I have seen it in the thread "lets see your home theatre" This is the link http://forums.klipsch.com/forums/t/42024.aspx?PageIndex=101 Very interesting. artto
Another fine example of how almost anything, regardless how retarded or impractical it is, can be patented. And when are people who design this kind of junk going to figure out that concave surfaces make for terrible acoustics? EDIT: Also, apparently Mr. Wuu (the inventor) is not aware of where a movie theater's profit center is at. Can you imagine trying to hold on to your large Cola and bucket of popcorn with that floor vibrating and moving all around? Oops, there goes 25 bucks. Islander
I guess he'd never heard of Cinesphere, the spherical IMAX theater at Ontario Place in Toronto. The sound there is actually very good. It was probably one of the first IMAX theaters.
