Marvel Posted November 1, 2008 Share Posted November 1, 2008 I am more familiar with digital formats, i.e., miniDV, etcc, but have a Sony EVO 9700 deck that is a Hi8 editor (contains a player and recorder transport in one chassis). As they say, lots of ins and outs. But I don't have a manual and am wanting to know the specs of the Hi8 format. I know it is very similar to S-VHS, with the audio pretty much a 20-20K bandwidth.
