  1. I live in Northeast Ohio - between Cleveland and Erie. Every winter storm brings all the Cleveland reporters out to show just how bad it is. We're looking for another 8-12 inches tonight and tomorrow - with probably 30 inches already on the ground! Any of you snow romantics that think this is fun, I will trade my house and system (6.1 Legend series with nice vinyl rig - sorry, no tubes yet), for your warm weather abode for a week in January. That will give you all you need to know about the white stuff. I bet you'll call the deal off after clearing my driveway just once!
  2. You might be thinking of the song "Walking in the Rain" by Flash and the Pan from their 1979 self-titled debut album. Walking down the street Kicking cans Looking at the billboard All so ran Summing up the people Checking out the race Doing what I'm doing Feeling out of place Walking, walking in the rain Feeling like a woman Looking like a man Sounding like a no-no Make it when I can Whistling in the darkness Shining in the light Coming the conclusion Right is might is tight Walking, walking in the rain Come in all you jesters Enter all you fools Sit down no-no Ogre, ghouls Trip the light fantastic Dance the swivel hips Coming the conclusion Button up your lips Walking, walking in the rain Walking, walking in the rain
  3. I guess no Tull fans are here. Jethro Tull - Back-Door Angels from the War Child LP I make this one a little easier... "Now these fine ladies, they had a plan They was out to meet the boys in the band"
  4. Beneath between behind - Rush "why do the faithful have such a will - to believe in something and call it the name they will - having chosen nothing"
  5. Yo mama's so ugly, when she signed up for the ugly contest, the said "sorry, no professionals allowed"!
  6. Really moves me: Afterglow - Genesis/Seconds Out (goosebumps every time) Llorando (Crying) - Rebekah Del Rio from Mulholland Drive (just haunting) Strangers in a Car - Marc Cohn Really makes me move: Gonna Make You Sweat - C&C Music Factory (if you can't dance to this-just give up!!) Flirtin with Disaster - Molly Hatchet (the louder-the better)
  7. Chardon Ohio - In the heart of Lake Erie's snow belt
  8. I don't know if anyone needs a sub but this one can shake you out of your seat! And a great price to boot. Spkrdctk - You should have no problem getting rid of this at your asking price. DINO
  9. Thanks for the welcome. Now I've got TWO posts under my belt. I've just received my first Klipsch speakers - a KLF c-7 and the 20's are on the way. I got them from a real nice member on this board - Eric in N.C. I hate to admit but I have never auditioned Klipsch speakers but after much reading and the way that most Klipsch owners describe the sound - I know I won't be dissapointed. Already my C-7 sounds better than any center I've heard to date. I just can't wait to get the 20's and get them hooked up! Dino
  10. POST #1 Everyone has to start somewhere! I've been lurking on this board for a short while trying to get an education - I just wish I had something worthwhile to contribute.
