I have been looking for this CD all around the house for the last 6 months and I finally found it. This is the Telarc disc with the digital cannon warnings. I listened to it and I think the Heresys did a great job. There was no clipping at all. This is the best recording I have ever heard.

I'm looking at the LK-72 on ebay but I think it's going to go up to high for me right now. Maybe I'll be able to get it and borrow the money from my mom or do one of those cut the grass for the rest of my life kind of deals.

any other scotts besides the 299c & 299d that someone would like to sell

so nobody on here wants to sell their 299c or 299d

a car subs bass isn't very tight

Today I went to Sheltie Dave's house and got to listen to his stereos. I got to listen to tube amps & K-Horns for the first time. Everything was awesome! I listened to his Scott 299c on a pair of Heresys and it sounded great. So I don't want a ss amp that much anymore(well the HK630 sounds really good). I think that I want to buy a Scott 299c or 299d then have it rebuilt. I only have about $150 right now I'll hopefully have about $250 in 2 or 3 months. Maybe if I'm lucky it will snow and I can go make some money. So if anybody wants to sell their 299c or 299d sometime soon will you please let me know. Thanks, Taylor

yeah I think they are for movie theatres. We were playing Saving Privaat Ryan and my cousin was standing about 7' away from the sub, he said that the air that it was moving was blowing his pants around.

I was sitting in art class when this kid starts talking about how his dad just got a Bose htib and how great it sounds. He said Bose makes the best speakers ever . I didn't want to be mean so I didn't say anything.

You guys spell my name wrong just like everybody else I know. I mainly listen to stuff like Aerosmith and Van Halen.

I can afford all of my equipment because my parents are divorced then they each got remarried so I have a huge family. I got a whole bunch of from my family this Christmas ended up to be like $500 . Well since I'm kinda tied on the Heresys I'll have to be the youngest owner of La Scalas or K-Horns. If I had enough room for the la scalas I would buy them when I turn 16 and get a job.

Did PWK have any kids because if he did I bet they had some k-horns or la scalas

You do sound kinda old. I'm possibly going to buy a Denon PMA-300 integrated amp when I go to SheltieDave's house. But I'm afraid when I hear his tube amp(I forgot what he had) I'm going to have to buy one and then have it rebuilt by Craig or if it's Scott I'll ask Ryan because of his generous offer. I never heard a tube amp or seen one in person. I also bought my Heresys without ever seeing them in person or hearing them. I bought them because my stepdad's friend from Antech Labs said they sounded great.

Think about this why would I brag about a stereo with speakers that are twice as old as I am, a cheap Yamaha integrated amp(that isn't even mine, it's my stepdad's amp that he ins't using), and like a $150 CD player. I was just wondering if there are other people my age that know what good speakers are. All of my friends think Bose is the greatest thing ever.

I'm not bragging, I was just curious. I don't think I would brag to people on this forum about my stereo when almost all of your stereos are way better than mine.

I just got a pair of heresys in December and I am 13 years old. Am I the youngest owner of Heritage speakers or does anybody know anybody younger than I with some Heritage speakers?

You could buy some heresys and have money leftover for other upgrades.

My stepdad bought a Denon AVR-3803 for his HT, it is awesome. This thing sounds really good but he doesn't have Klipsch so I don't know what it sounds like with your speakers.

Somebody told me if you don't put the menus on you can fit a whole movie on the disc. He burns DVDs all the time, I just won't listen to what he says about the picture quality beacuse he has a piece of crap TV.

I really want to be able to duplicate movies from blockbuster with a DVD burner. Before I buy one I was wondering if they still have the same picture quality as a store bought DVD and if they play in progressive scan.

"My subs eat any single sub for lunch" How about my stepdad's JBL Pro 18" sub. He said there is a warning label on the back of the magnet that said it may cause structural damage, or something like that I know it was some kind of damage.

Dave, I went over to Flips's Audio to look at all of the stuff I can't buy, but when I got there the store was empty, looked like they moved or something.
