Glad you are better, but ICU doesn't sound so good.

Have you been hospitalized since Friday?

What I would do to it would be considered "riding" it 😁

That always confuses me when something has a steering wheel and more than one seat LOL!  One person drives, and the other person hangs on for dear life!

I'd love to have one of those but can't justify the cost.

My wife wanted this more than I, in fact it was her idea to get it.  Of course I didn't argue.  I think we got a good deal.  It's a 2019 model with 8 hours on it, for half the cost of a brand new one.

  4. If you don't want to spend a fortune, the Sony studio monitor wired headphones may be a good bang for the buck.  I've had the Sony MDR-V6 for over 15 years, and while not really high end, they do well enough.  That model was discontinued (although still available through Amazon).  The replacement is apparently the MDR-7506 and goes for about $100 (I've not actually listened to those).

Wow--this 300+ page thread is exactly a year old! 😱 Kudos to the moderators for keeping it open. Going back and  reading the first few pages made me realize  how AMAZING  of a time-capsule it is of the cascading events that we all just went through this last trip around the Sun. 👽 Hope everyone is well and thank you for your participation in this thread!👨‍🎓

Exactly one year ago today, my family departed NYC, returning from a Spring Break trip to see the sights.  Nothing was shut down in the city while we were there, nobody wearing masks yet, etc., but LaGuardia Airport traffic seemed really light already.  That may have been the last day of the pre-Covid way of life.  What a crazy year this has been.

  6. I was shocked and saddened to hear this news.  Kirby was truly a great guy, and I really enjoyed getting to know him at the audio gathering in September. We were the same age, and we had a lot in common. He was local to my area, and we had talked of plans to get together this Spring and spend some time boating on Lake Grapevine.  Condolences and prayers go out to his family in this time of sorrow.  RIP Kirby Smith.

  7. Can you audition both the III's and the IV's and decide if the extra $$$ is worth it to you?

I've heard the IIIs, but not the IV's.  But based on my impression of the III's and what I have heard and read about the IV's, I would get the IV's and not look back.  The Pioneer will be great for a while until you get the bug to do something different.  It's your money so it is real easy for me to say get the IV's.

  8. I like the way the Nikon D700 renders colors.  I know it is ancient in terms of digital technology (2008) and only 12 MB, but I like the images it produces. These shots were taken in various places around Vancouver while on a family vacation in 2018.

There are a couple stations here that have non ethanol which is slightly more but we like it better, with no choice but to pay what they charge we don't pay much attention.

The 1968 Chris Craft engines, carbs and gas tanks in my boat don't do well with ethanol gas, but I can't by non-ethanol gas on the lake.  It is against the marina rules to bring fuel in cans or tanks and refuel in the slip.  I wish at least one of the three marinas with fuel docks would carry real gasoline.  I would gladly pay a premium for that.

Always(well as far back as I recall) been $0.10 less per gallon for cash where we fuel up. This is enough for me to use cash for gas. Plus the fact of the the skimming/ scamming at gas pumps that goes on around here.

Now as to prices going up...don't get me started..that could go political in a nanosecond.

Economic talk often turns political when one doesn't understand economics (not aimed at anyone in particular).
