  1. Congratulations! And welcome to the forum!
  2. I stayed up here half the night here in DFW, TX and didn't see a thing :-/
  3. The only things I could think of is to recap the crossovers and possible dynamat the inside of the enclosures. Other than that I think you're sort of out of luck.
  4. Haha once you hear it and hear/smell/taste the rubber it leaves behind i bet you'll still say its a ladies car
  5. Thanks for all the comments. The car does have enough power to lay a nice pair of black marks, which Im sure is helped out by the filter and exhaust. I have recharged the filter, and next on the list is an oil change, plugs and wires, and probably a new left front wheel bearing. The car doesn't have the ugly touch screen crt, since it is a 91. I think 89 was the last year for those. I did put the biggest tire that would fit on it, 225 55 16's. It rides really well IMO. Thanks
  6. So I just bought a 1991 Buick Reatta. I know.... Its a Buick... But its not your typical Buick. Not sure who all has heard of it, but they were hand built in Michigan. I wanted it because its unique. They only made 1214 of mine, so I think it will be something not many people will get a chance to see. Under the hood is a TPI 3.8. I think its quite a bit of power for a little two seater car. It has every option (yes, all three of them) Buick offered, which was 16 way power seats, sunroof, and a cd player. I've already put a new radio in it, including Focal speakers. When I got it it already had a K&N airfilter and flowmasters, but im not sure if i like how loud it is. It doesn't sound like any V6 I've ever heard. Any thoughts/opinions?
  7. It is an amazing DVD. I wish I wasn't like 5 years old back in '94. My mom went to the concert, and Im still pissed she didn't take me
  8. Its a piece of foam about 1" thick that wraps completely around the woofer.
  9. There is acoustic padding in mine. Also, there is the cut out for the tweeter. Just nothing to hook it into. I'll try to get better pics soon. Mine are upside down too. I dont like the sound without the K-77 haha
  10. The Rocket Summer - Hello, Good Friend - Rock I guess? This is by far one of my favorite cd's. I think its probably aimed towards the younger people of the group []
  11. I bought a pair of these too, but mine are def Heresy II's. And they have the TH-SR2 crossovers in them, with nothing going to the tweeter. Here's a pic. Do I need a new crossover to go threeway? Or can I just mod this one? Or get Bob to do it?
  12. I'd be up for a few in a small. Im flexible on the color. Thanks
  13. Any one else see this? Its the new RT-12D. Looks niiiiice. http://www.klipsch.com/media/Photos/RT-12d_large.jpg

  16. Hey all, time for me to get a decent pair of bookshelf speaks and to pay off a band trip. The heresys are 1985 HWO, consec serial numbers, and in near mint shape. The Heresys are on ebay now.. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5844169458 Thanks, David
  17. Ooooh I forgot the best part... I'd like to get what I paid for them, which is $500.
  18. Hey all, I hate to do it, But I have to sell the Heresys. Have a band trip and class ring to pay for, and the job just isnt paying enough haha. Anyways, Like the title says, They are 1985 Walnut oil Heresys, with risers, With copper grills. I've only seen just a few pairs with copper colored grills. They have consec serial numbers. They are in near perfect shape, but there is a nick or two on one of them that was there when I got it. I can supply pics if need be, or if you're in the DFW area you can come check them out. I dunno if theres anything else I need to say about them. If you'd like to know anything else just lemme know. Thanks, David
