  1. It's a 2020 Branson 2505h, nearly new. Paid $18k with the front loader, backhoe, and blade. All the tractors in this size use nearly the same parts. Almost all use the same Yanmar 3 cylinder diesel. I narrowed my search to a few different make/models and looked for the nicest one I could, with the attachments I wanted. The backhoe alone, if you had to purchase separately, is like $7k+. I hadn't heard of Branson or Yanmar (they makes tractors too and I actually liked their offering in this category), or many other tractor brands, but I have never shopped for a tractor before.
  2. It was empty at that point, but it was a tow strap.
  3. Getting more toys to do work around the house... Never thought I would own a tractor, but here we are.
  4. I hadn't heard of the brand prior to the sale post in the local buy/sell page on FB, so I did some research and thought it would be a pretty solid buy off of that. My wife said here dad said it was a good buy as well. He had much more experience with this stuff. I haven't had to mow grass in almost a decade since I lived in the mountains when I went back to Colorado. They guy who sold it was pretty enthusiastic about it, other than having to sell. He went over everything with me, to include the initial oil change, and documentation on it, to include the receipt from the local store in his name. Right before I started taking off, he stopped me and wanted to give me the branded oil for it. I had actually talked him down a little on price, but after talking with him for about 30+ minutes and hearing his story on why he had to sell, I ended up going back to the car and grabbing additional money to pay him original asking, which was still a really good buy (once a haggler, always a haggler). We were originally getting a little sketched out when driving there as he was out in the middle of nowhere, here in Arkansas. All worked out and I might be hiring him for drywall work in the near future.
  5. Made an adulting purchase today. I wasn't looking to buy yet, but knew it would come in the next year. This popped up on my feed and was basically new. The guy I got it from was needing the money pretty bad, so I went and picked it up. We've been cutting down trees in our yard and now we'll be able to have grass. So far, 44 trees cut in the front yard. Probably have another 60+ to go for the the back of the property and what I still want to take out of the front. When we moved in 4 months ago (I just had started cutting trees): 2 weeks ago (I've since burned the slash moved half of the wood to our wood pile: My CRD Jeep continues to put in work! Also got my PRI 2022 splurge purchase... A set of wireless corner scales. I've been weighing everything, just because. The screen was damaged, but they sent me another one to replace this: Took in an abandoned dog after he found himself on our property. He's a sweet boy, but we have two other dogs, so now we're looking for a forever home for him. If I didn't have two dogs, I'd keep this one... 3 is too much for us.

Yeah, definitely not joking. The tuning wouldn't be any different here. We'd need a larger fuel tank, but this car would be able to handle a mile on the tunes it runs down the 1/4 mile. The real trick would be the shutdown as the rear end gets really light. I'm a road course and AutoX guy. It's cool to hit fast speeds in a straight, but also meh for the most part.

That pass also had the hood sticking up half the track, before flying off.

Pretty sure our Taurus will do 200mph in the standing mile. 😛
  9. I should have it up and going tomorrow. Hung the TV last night and now need to wire it all up. Luckily, the rear is all wired up from the previous owner when they built the house, so I just have to hang the new surrounds and connect them up! For the cabinet... That was a bit if a pain to sort out, but I like it for the outcome. I bought it on Wayfair and it came with a bunch of damaged parts. They sent me another, and it had some damaged parts as well. I put it together and things didn't fit right, but I had enough parts between the two to make something that worked, but still has a gouge in the top panel that isn't covered by the center speaker. After talking with Wayfair again, they refunded me. For the price of $0, I'll use it until I get some time to build something that fits me. At the original price of about $1k, I was very unhappy and I didn't want to keep sending more kits and hoping they are good.
  10. Why do I have to love such big sound?! This was like unboxing a floor standing speaker. Smaller than the mantel speaker I made, but this one doesn't go un-noticed.
  11. I picked up the truck I ordered in March... And also placed an order for a Maverick for my wife while I was there since the kid will start driving and take her CR-V
  12. It was a Pioneer and still working (though had some noise to it), but was cumbersome to use, big, and I have 6 new TV's already. I had no use for it and didn't want to deal with it. I'm guessing the size was around 40".
  13. The speakers seem to be fine as none of the box damage was severe. If there is an issue, the guys at Listen Up will take care of me. I am pretty excited to hear the RC-64. The mantel speaker I made was pretty dang good, and a bit bigger, but this time around, I figured I'd go with a traditional center due to the room. On the plus side, the surround speakers already have wiring in place. The hose came with some old Polk F/X 300i surround speakers, which I just listed on FB Marketplace as I have no use for them. The house also came with an Athena surround sound setup and an old Pioneer plasma, which I just took to Best Buy for recycling.
  14. Since I had to leave my center and surrounds in the last house, due to being built-in, I just picked up some replacements!
  15. I got moved into our new house, about 3 hours away from where my La Scalas were made... Not everything is unpacked, but not having used these speakers for 5 months, they got hooked up temporarily! I may have "got" a new TV...
  16. The SN should be stamped just above the label (end of the plywood).
  17. Look up the cost of new and cut in half? Bold strategy, Cotton.

Again, this is sort of my area... You're not teaching me or anyone here anything. What you will find on all of them... Same tuning strategies.

Again, I never assumed anything. I know a little bit about the Lambo-borrowed Audi motor, too. My first response proved a point in that they weren't as different as you claimed. Please stop coming back with 'my assumptions'.

I'm not making assumptions. But... I do have little more experience than the single example I have shown.

Audi/VW are basically the same... Even uses the same map between the two brands for a like vehicle.

I tune, but I have not tuned BMW's, so I can't speak for how well their tune works. I have heard of the JB4, but obviously have not used it. I believe I may have one friend running it on his current gen M3/4, but I would have to ask. He's been racing it on track and autoX and it hasn't blown up... And it is a full street car.
