Only one side is on the wall and still sounds good. But with 2-RWS-15's and 2-JBL ES150P's I have enough bass for now. (-: http://s981.photobucket.com/user/wrench722/library/H%20Horn You made those!! Let me pick up my jaw from the floor... Since you made them, why not make backs for the sides that are not sealed off with a wall? I think horn-loaded bass sounds better than direct radiating bass of those subs. Plus, the bass bin handles up to 450Hz; no way the subs will do that or that an AVR will even let you set a crossover frequency that high.

Same here... I replaced a single Heresy II rear with a pair of these to go from 6.1 to 7.1. Still using Heresy II as side surrounds, but I would go with these if tight on space.

You give a new meaning to screenshot!

Tuba HT sub. This DIY sub is a horn-loaded design and is seamless with Klipschorn bass. I use a miniDSP to EQ bass response. https://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/topic/120571-diy-sub-for-klipschorn-based-ht-and-music-tuba-ht-build-done-except-for-finish/ -

Custom Mounts for my RS-62ii (Designed by Wake Junkie)

And and not so HUGE thanks to Willland for his "vision" of the design. Without that "vision", Wake would have been dead in the water. And here I thought I was the one with the "vision" of the design: https://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/topic/69941-a-simple-wall-mount-bracket-for-heresy-center-or-other-speaker/ So let's share... I thought of the design, you suggested applying it here. But I suggested that to angle them down first! https://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/topic/146541-considering-71what-would-you-do/page-2#entry1663201 -
It was not long ago because I just finished mine with stain! As for rattles in the CD rack, surprisingly it's the doors at the other end of the room and a light ficture on the opposite wall that do most of it! Anyway, I am happy with it all and finally realizing that I lost 7 dB in the miniDSP reassured me that I don't need another sub. I have lots of headroom left. This things is more efficient than Klipschorns.

Just thought I'd top up this thread... it took me a long time, but I finally stained the sub and found a better location for it along my back wall. The frequency response varies a lot between my four seats and the music sweet spot. Here it is at some locations after some manual EQ on a miniDSP, with gains of up to +5 dB and reductions of up to -5dB. Note that the sub mean level is about 6 dB below the mains, so even at +5dB I am still reducing the gain structure. Running through the RCA-plug version of the miniDSP drops the output by about 7 dB, so if you want to use one make sure you can accommodate the gain structure. The magenta one is pretty nice, I think. If I want to run a movie with the sub hot, then I have a volume control since it is fed by a single channel of my previous HK receiver (the 40-lbs avr325).
