  1. rubber mate for protection will be trimed or just bent up for bass off of back of kg4 passive radiator
  2. Marble treatment with rubber-maid ultra contact paper
  3. Here's the karlson-cab website, http://home.planet.nl/~ulfman/ ,an the cabs on ebay, i told you about, sold for 1k. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5744824804&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT The goop on the cornwall woofers ,is just the coating on the surround, that has run down over the years an puddled, only solution is to rotate the woofer every 5000 miles 1\4 turn. Oiled up the birch an looks good, an did the rubbermaid cont-tact brand decorative covering, in black marble trick, on the front of one motorboard ,an now it's break time. An one more link for the vox valvetronic modeling amp i showed you check out how the different amps an setting formed your favorite bands sound http://www.voxamps.co.uk/
  4. Skip search what is the history on 22t301 & 22t313 an the finish
  5. CRANIUM CRUSHING ^5 GREG ,there mine now, the shipping was a total of three blocks, in the back of his killer truck, with his copilot riding shotgun, there resting comfortible an have been vacumed out, thick rubber mates on tops, with kg4s, on limited edition Paul W Klipsch signature stands, on back outer quadrants, left an right, for presence speakers in 7.1.Will post pics once there dailed in. Questions will follow on cabniet care, an light mods an tweeks.Observation what to do with black surround coating ,that has gathered in a lump, at bottom of bass drivers gasket after 27 years.
  6. throw your new sub on it, an push it into a corner, lean some old records, against the front of the sub ,an you have a folded cornerhorn, then reset your sub levels because the fold will increase the distance to your ears.1 watt=1 dollar on the street groovie
  7. forgot if your really into it an spl-meter will do the same for setting up levels. As far as the crossover ,it will just set the frequency when your sub gets a signal, if your set up as a fullrange front speaker, a small speaker it will cut of the signal at the crossover point an feed all the lower frequencys to the sub
  8. dial it in it's a 2 to 1 ratio on the cross over front speakers respond down to 40 hertz solid, crossover at 80 hertz, also important is the level of each speaker, because of unequal distances you will have to get the levels right, the newer amps have this built in ,with an omniderctional mic that you place were you listen,, an it is done in auto mode ,an tells you the distance an volume levels ,some also set up the EQ,adjustments ,or use your test tone it will be close, the tolerance on the auto modes is 6', this will enable your DSP effects to be effective, it's like a sound enginer coming to your home, an setting up a flat response curve needed for DSP, ie yamaha sends sound enginers to the site, an mics the venue's acoutics with 4 mics, say tenth row center at the Roxy or at a 70 mm theater, throws that info in the dsp chip, using delay ,reverb ,an modulations, to recreate the venue ,if your sub or any other speaker is over powering the other speakers ,it ruins the DSP , in layman terms this is time aligning an equaling your sound levels for a sweet spot for were your ears are, woodwinds in front kettle drums in the back.laters have fun
  9. i'm interested, an in your backyard, any pics
  10. an were does a stuffed port fall in all this FMD
  11. here's another cheapy for kg2&kg4 ,an others, for kg2, remove your drivers, an place a layer of your favorite rubbermaid ultra con-tact paper, over the motorboard ,an cut out the tracing, of the driver holes ,an the tracing of the cover magnets, maybe even 2 layers sort of like a cheap dynamat, an pretty too i'm thinking blackmarble, but hey polka-dots might look good too, same thing on a kg4, just trace the seam, between the drivers without removing them, with a rasor blade or other sharp instrument, an the motorboard, an cut the tracing around the cover magnets, that you will see when you smooth the contact paper over them. now were's my triple expansion foam i'm going in side to coat some ringing baskets an horns HANG LOSE
  12. here's a mod for kg2, with out a passive radiator, get 4 small nutts ,remove the tweeter screws ,place the nuts as spacers, on the screws behind the Dhorn tweeter, an tighten you now have a vented kg2 ,a little stuffing behind the tweeter ,an you have a little tranmission line, is it tuned right ,who knows but its cheap
  13. Opps hit the enter key, ANYWAY this came to me in a dream, lets take a kg4, it has a passive radiator, coupled by air, in a supposed air tight box, with 2, 8 inch drivers ,with cloth dust caps so i would believe there not air tight, there would be blow-by via the spider-voicecoil an cloth dust cap. Experment, would sealed off dust caps tighten the interanal air coupling, might be a good duct tape project. If it does only thing i can think of to seal the dust caps would be spraying clear coat on the caps.Possible problem, all my musical amps have vented drivers for heat, would sealing the dust caps heat up the drivers, is this why dust caps are cloth in first place for cooling.Notice the newer drivers in the RF7 with sealed dust caps are they vented drivers.Suggestions on possible problems of sealing dust caps off an method of sealing dust caps

  17. yea i was wondering too, an there is some kind of other cabs ,it's a whole set of something. i'm also looken at some belle, an wondering about this mod about opening up the doghouse door, the door is under the belle an their on risers, so there is this extra 2.55 cubic feet ,why not just slot or tube the riser.always wanted pair of belle but the bass dropeing off an 54 hertz is a drawback.
  18. whats up, i must have missed em you have the item #. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5739797820&ssPageName=STRK ,was checking these out but didn't get a email reply on the other cab.i think the motor boards are upside down.http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=5741120001&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT,what do think about these cornwalls
  19. YOU HAVE 2 GROUNDS IN SYSTEM REGULAR INWALL SOCKET AN CABLE GROUND. your cable is grounded out side an you have a ground loop hum, put 2, 75 ohm to 300 ohm tranfomers back to back an it will break the ground, on the cable ,or buy a klipsch box ,that does the same thing
  20. I would stand in the way of an RPG for fellow Klipsch forum members, was just showing an example of the spoof emails for examples if it helps people aviod such scams. Helps the puzzle fall together, ask. HAPPY HOLIDAYS FOLKS

  22. EBay Inc. is in a rising trend, but is now testing the ceiling of the trend channel. This may give a reaction down, while a continued rise within the trend channel may be expected for the longer term. The stock has support at $ 93.00. The stock is assessed as technically positive for the medium long term. http://www.investtech.com/main/market.php?CompanyID=10500640&product=4 I'm dumpen ebay tomorrow it's doubled in about a year an i don't owen anything that lets fraud into their dealings, when i walk into a store ,i have stock in ,an have a bad customer expereance i dump it.Buy when there is blood in the streets ,an sell when their all haveing a parade.I'm still trying to figure out this diode thing on cornwall II tweeters
