I know BB has them. I was asking to see if anyone has upgraded to or is going to be upgrading to the Reference line and had these and wanted to sell them.
I have my components in an oak cabinet. I removed most of the rear panel, left 2 inches of material on the rear sides to keep the shelves from falling out the back. I also open the doors when I have a component on. No problems here.
I have the F2's and in my 12 x 14 livingroom the sound is great. What I like about the Synergy Series is the "front-firing bass ports". I'm sure the F3's are better but $250 for a pair of two year old hardly used F2's I just couldn't pass them up.
I was told that it is better to parallel wire speakers. I want to fill in the empty areas in the room. The problem is my wife does not want large speakers in the family room taking up floor space. I have 2 F-1's and 4 Quintets and a KSC center plus a sub. I have the opportunity to purchase a 5pc Quintet for a very good price. She is OK with the F-1's because they are next to the TV. The others are on the walls and the news ones will have to be on the walls as well. She really like the size and look of the Quintets.
The receiver puts out 100 watts @ 6 Ohms per channel.
I have a 7.1 setup. I want to add 4 more speakers to this setup. I am going to parallel wire a speaker to each left and right rear channel surround and also parallel wire a speaker to each left and right surround channel.
