Want a good sub workout, this baby THUMPS... the bigger the screen the BETTER. Feature length is just right. A great summary of original USA boys at their best. Really liked the camera angles at 200 mph. HAve a trip reserved at the Richard Petty School of Racing, no shot gun seating here. Can't wait to drive ( wife bets a fancy dinner- if I get a speeding ticket in her beamer after this one.) Who's gunna be right ? donnie

Five Stars to the techs in this process. These are truly becoming milestones in HT. Audio and Video upgrades unsurpassed. Reviewing hits such as BAMBI, MARY POPPINS, THE KING and I, detail worthy of first choice DEMOS. In my HT room I must say, my prior recollection of these hits (from the theaters of the Sixtys) are NO Match. Perhaps if we rave about the great job more intense, these techs will honor us with better and better mixes. Our great systems within the forum members and beyond are so revealing, we really need to get those techs up front. Thank God for electricity- LOL....

Just got back from spring break vacation. Checked out the postings, sorry late on this one. I must say, my previous posting SmallTown Dealer Rules is right on the mark here. It is so nice to be called by your first name when you walk in. Howard and myself have built a nice relationship over the years, and its not just me , he is great with everyone. When I wanted to upgrade my sub, the RW-12 was in my budget, he says " Donnie take it home for the weekend, and you decide, what better demo than in my HT room, bought it Thursday. WOW. The response on the posting I started DLP vs Plasma was really great, you Heavyweights took it to an amazing depth on info. This is a GREAT resource. I purchased the DLP from ( Howard ) of course. Keep it up People!!!!!!!!!!!! many thanks Donnie ps Wife now says every dollar well spent. Diamonds go a long way BABY.. HA AH AH..

Very interesting movie. Would be freaky if this could really happen. I must say, The scene with the first car crash, came in so cool, my wife and I just about hit the ceiling, then looked at each other and laughed. Takes alot to get me caught off guard, great job ..

Feed back GREATLY appreciated... My choice is the Mitsubishi 52 DLP. My local dealer says 2500.00 cash or Diamond finacing. CASH talks baby. Also worked him for all the needed cables. Can't wait to interface with my Onkyo DV-SP1000 through the HDMI hook up. I think i will be reviewing my entire dvd collection for awhile. Thanks Again Guys!!!!!!!!!

Hey Foxman, sorry its like trying to find a house with no address. In AVP it was chapter 19 where the predator's self destruction bomb goes off. The LFE sound was feeling the sonic boom. I've Upgraded my sub to the RW-12 and the lower hertz is much more defined.

Which has the best viewing angle?

Durability. They say when the lamp goes the owner can change it, is this true?

Anyone checking these out?

Reading the advice from the " Great Ones " has really informed me. Like your response before the Bucks go out.

Pixar is the leader in animaton. THX encoding compliments their efforts. When demo needed seems like I find myself reaching for one of their flicks. I am very happy with my HT system. Compared with our small town theater, ha ha no tickets from me. DLP is next, 52inches and my new popcorn Kettle ( not popper ). Covers Sight, Sound, Smell... Always joke about charging admission HA AH

Sci-Fi has a winner with this one. Wasn't sure about the mix, but made for a great story. Sound track tops. One scene the launch was so real, the sub made it fantastic. Gotta watch those chapter #s. Sorry can tell right now exactly where it was, but it was most memberable

Pixar-Leading the Way.... These guys raise the bar with animation. Top choice for demo. This movie leaves you wanting MORE. Tweaked up the RW-12 and WOW !!!!!!!!!! This one gets FIVE STARS

I'll watch it again. After two movies I was becoming a zombie.

Sweet Spot - Sweet Sound. When you find the perfect blend ( adjusting my sub RW-12 output ) I must say it was like my ensemble of speakers went to the next level. I brought the sub volume up untill it seemed like the lower end of my mains became expanded. Center is at its best. I'm starting out ( First HT system ) Well worth looking for. Great Forum ! You Highend guys remember when it all fellinto place ? To think it just keeps getting better and better. Thanks
-
The results would be nice. Myself having the RW-12 very pleased with it. When I found the sweet spot of blend, WOW the rest of my speakers went to the next level,

Chronicles of Riddick, excellant sound track, and effects. Story just a little slow. Really enjoy Vin. Looking foward to his new comedy (Pacifier), will add to my collection. Had to trim down the RW-12, LFE rocks this one

60's live on BEATLES ComeTogether. (I turn up my RW-12 to 3/4 full and the neighbor calls everytime. lol
-
Hey bchild311, You hit it right on the mark my man.In HT, more is better.Remember when Pro Logic beat matrix.then 5.1 killed them. Now 6.1 and 7.1 maybe even 9.1 someday ? Replaying my collection with THX Ultra Keeps bringing more and more detail. To think it will keep getting better and better.

Ross, Are you sure you want to do this? I mean I really think Klipsch knew the best for this driver. Unless you understand audio dynamics, I think you will degrade the RW-12. Think about it, the internal design of the RW-12 cabinent alone is unmatched I think everyone agrees. ( have you noticed- NO REPLYS on your topic.) If it's decor issue and you are not concerned about response, well that is personal ???? donnie

Hey smokem, I would recommend upgrading your non powered sub first, Self powered ones ( for smaller ht steups), make spl setups much easier. That sweet spot can be tailored to your perfection good luck, I have two subs, a 10 and a 12. Lot of high system members posting here , lets not forget the little guys getting started. thanks donnie

Hey Ottscay, I agree there is a differance on/off. You know when mine are off, I find I am cranking the volume up more often. Probally just like watching the woofers get a little workout, ha ha... I will say my RW-12 sub draws more comments when the grille is off. Also enjoy the air movement. thanks donnie
