  1. I’ll post a few more.
  2. These really are great. Some of them are missing sleeves and I’ve encountered a couple with skips but they’re in nice shape all in all. I’ve been allowed to pick as much as I want from a collection and I have about 60 so far.
  3. Thanks, and they’re all pretty much vintage and well cared for.
  4. I really like this.....
  5. Here’s another good one.
  6. Any jazz aficionados? I’m going through a collection of lps that were given to me.
  7. One of my top ten films👍
  8. I was called out on a nasty HAZMAT incident in the northwest corner South Dakota over the weekend and an early morning storm rolled in really fast from the west that I thought looked pretty cool. I don't know why the focus looks skewed but it is just cell phone shot. Still using a Blackberry which may explain the weird focus - I'll call it artistic effect.
  9. Congratulations on finally getting your funds. The forgiveness process still seems to be evolving but the link below is from the latest information from my bank (as of Friday). They sent me the latest PDF and said it may still not be the final draft but it gives an idea of what information will need to be provided for loan forgiveness. I have to say that my local bank has really been on top of things through the whole process - I’ve been working with them for nearly 30 years and they were truly looking out for me. They got our application in early in the wee hours on the first day and we had the funds about a week or so later - very easy compared to other stories I’ve heard. https://home.treasury.gov/system/files/136/3245-0407-SBA-Form-3508-PPP-Forgiveness-Application.pdf
  10. Truly great character, you can perfectly assign an entire personality disorder just by saying a guy is an Eddie Haskell. Keep giv'in 'em the business on the other side.
  11. I’d say even more than ours. Their highways, even in the rural provinces, are bigger and newer than ours. They have been pragmatically making huge investments in infrastructure. Back when I was there, it was a boom time for engineering and construction as government agencies similar to our DOT were being privatized into the hands of the well connected. Similar to the oil production in Russia. [added]. An Australian engineer that I met in the Guizhou Province, at the largest smelter (aluminum) that I’ve ever seen made the casual comment that “these Chinese don’t do anything an a small scale, eh mate”
  12. Remember, China is a nation of “only children” that have been mostly raised (read spoiled) by their grandparents as both parents worked. When I was working there, even as far back as far as 2004, they were referring to the phenomenon as the new “Princeling Syndrome” and they (at least the officials that I knew) were truly concerned about what it would mean for Chinese society going forward.
  13. Interesting article but the photo foreground vegetation looks like the Sonoran Desert - the only place in the world where Saguaros grow. The ship, background, and clouds shout Photoshop.

  15. That’s one for the time capsule! 😁
  16. Thanks for the heads-up - I fall for that kind thing all the time on Craigslist.
  17. Sounds like the dreaded “Zombie Apocalypse” for which preppers (including most likely the guys in the photo) are stocking up and arming themselves; however,........... ............... I promise to not kill you or anyone for food or water. Thank-you for your kindness.
  18. I think you’re going for “Guns and Posers”
  19. What will they’ll say about us 100 years from now?
  20. I had to correct my post, the data that I listed was from May 7. As far as ever being the same again, we’ll have to see how history repeats.
