Do any of you guys run Marantz tube amps? Was just wondering because I have a few of there Marantz ss receviers and a few different Klipsch models and they all sound really good togather. But I never heard any of there tube stuff has anyone on this form ??? just wondering if they sound any better?

I have used Harmon kardon Yamaha Denon and Marantz for AV and still do with nothing but klipsch speakers.They all have good things about them in one way or another .I find Marantz the Big winner ................. before you buy a AV reciever aleast check out Marantz

I just got a pair of Hersey type ....H-wo with a serial # 27p438 dose that mean they were made in 1978 ? And dose anybody know or have the specs on these speakers ?? Thank you Randyman

Hi Dr Who No I do not have any measurement gear but a spl meter I just do it by hear .I know this way I will only get close .I thought maybe someone on this form might know how klf 30' s were set with these amps.I have a active xover I could put in mix would this help???Or will this just make things harder? Hey SwL thanks for the reply.I been reading all the post about these amps ya there might be a hiss if any pretty much have to stick your head in the horn to hear it .But the main reason I use this amp is to biamp with the dsp and its excellent ......For 400 something bucks I paid for it Idont care I know what sounds good and these xti rock on [H]
