I hooked everything up and powered it with an old pioneer svx receiver or something of that nature and it kicks out some bass ok. It distorts fairly easy. I'm sure it's the power. I hope so anyway. The driver hardly even moves. Makes my garage rock out. It's amazing how much fuller the sound is with the driver moving about 1/4 ". Tell me the power is junk!!!!!!!!!![] Waiting on the rain delay to end in nascar. Also .................Go Bucks. toodles

WOW. That would piss someone off. Fifty bucks and my left nut says he is under 25. Total lack of tact. I've never ran more than 65 watts ( harman kardon ) to my klf20's. I can't wait to get an updated quality amp to drive them. Did I say I can't wait?[] toodles

Pop. I appreciate the offer. I've read some of you guys ( DeanG etc.) discussing networks in other threads for a while. I've been soldering for years ( work ), mostly IC's, motor brushes, pot's, I just don't read schematics very well. This will sound silly, but I also just for fun solder little art projects like drum kits, piano's, fish, spider webs, monsters, etc out of wire, paperclips or something when I'm bored. It's a time wasting hobby. I just don't know the tech of what I need to purchase as far as the caps and such. I would like someone to say buy these caps, these resistors to replace the older ones. Part numbers would be awesome. Every time I peek around at parts express and think I got a list, I decide to wait until I know for sure. toodles

I see it now. Don't know what the problem was. I was wondering if anyone has specific caps they used for their upgrade.

All klf's are not shielded except for the c7. I'm having some issues with my two sets now. I moved my tv to the other side of the room with the furnace on the other side of the wall and I don't think it's going to work. The metal from the furnace just intensifies the magnetic field it seems. On the other side of the room everything was fine. toodles

I couldn't seem to be able to look at anything. They weren't pdf files.

Searching is absolutely not working. I know it's been discussed before, but now that I have two sets of 20's, I want to upgrade caps and such and a/b them with originals. I had the list, but I misplaced it. I can't remember what was recommended. Any help? toodles
