  1. Those were/are nice. I guess he got your KV 4. He needs to get that other pair and be done with it.
  2. I would guess somewhere in the $2700 range.
  3. I'm glad I have influenced others in a positive manner, showing that it's "OK" to simply say, "I'm sorry".
  4. Tweeter had Denon 1905s for $299 earlier this month, may still. I bought a Pioneer VSX 1015 to run a RB 35s/ RC 7/RS 7 combo and really like it. I paid $474 at BB but it can be had online much cheaper. It's a great receiver for what I am using it for. Very much worth taking a look at, IMO. Billy
  5. and think about how much that stuff cost new....should make you feel even BETTER
  6. No, but I did dress up as a clown for my niece's 4th birthday party about 15 years ago. I'll see if my sister still has any pictures. Incidentally, the party was in Ardmore, in the daytime of course. They don't deliver pizza to Ardmore , in fact on a couple of occasions they have cancelled my order since I live so close . [pi] It wasn't too awful bad back then, but that was about the time they found that dead body on the old RR track behind Morris Datsun.

  8. about 2 years ago, my numbers were screwed, too. He put me on Crestor and all numbers came right in line, and I eat like crap, too. I mean, i'm a really big dude, and all my numbers are perfect, except weight, that is. BTW, my pants, shirt, socks and shoes in a paper bag would weigh 167 pounds! It would take losing the equivilancy of you, fully clothed, to be at my ideal weight. But I do manage to play full court basketball every chance I get, it just hurts my feet that's all. I'm one hell of a post player.
  9. An aperature is a circle-shaped opening in a lens (a hole, really) through which light passes to strike the film. The aperture is usually created by an iris diaphragm that is adjustable, enabling the aperture to be made wider or narrower, thereby letting in more or less light. The size of the aperture is expressed as a number, like '/8 or '/11. You can control the depth of field by changing your aperature. In general, the bigger the aperature, the narrower the depth of field. The opposite is also true: the smaller your camera aperature, the wider or deeper your depth of field. But remember, the confusing thing is that a smaller number is a bigger aperature. For example, an aperature of 2.8 is a bigger opening than one of 16, because it's really a fraction and the numerator's left out, like 1/2 is bigger than 1/16. Digital cameras will give more depth of field at the same aperature since they use a smaller area to capture the image that a 35mm film rectangle, because the smaller the opening, the deeper the depth of field. So if you were to take a 35 mm camera and set the f/stop the same as a digital, point them at the same thing, more will be in focus from front to back in the scene with the digital camera. Pretty much the rule of thumb is the depth of field on a digital camera is the same as the depth of field on a 35 mm camera set 5 stops smaller. I think this was a good penance. Thanks for requiring me to do this.
  10. My wife keeps tellin me I need to get in touch with my feminine side. Wait 'till I tell her! why do I suddenly feel the need to go move a sofa or operate some heavy machinery?
  11. Ha Ha " little mister " . Let me put it this way , if Billy met up with an adult black bear , " I don't know where in Columbia this would happen , maybe the zoo " , the bear would run for his life . Heck USC should use Billy as the next Cocky he would Crush all other opposing mascots ... True 6'5" 345 lbs or not, I will never ever disrespect you by misspelling your name again. Oh, and btw, now I know why you posted, "Hi Billie" on a thread the other day. I deserved it.
  12. I'd like to apologize for any misbehavior, rude comments, making others feel stupid and offending remarks I may have made this year. Sorry Crazytubepower for calling you a liar and suggesting you have anonomous sex to drown the sorrow of your lost love. Sorry to St. Patrick for offending you so profusely in a similar conversation. Sorry to customsteve for a smart a$$ remark concerning his reply to one of my posts. Sorry to Colterphoto for being a smart a$$ when he told me to post smaller pictures(yes, I knew what I was saying in my reply, just "playing" dumb[:$] Sorry to Finthen for basically calling him an idiot and suggestion he can't read or write. Sorry to the forum for my trade klipsch for Bose shinanigens. Sorry to Sunburnwilly for misspelling his name time and time again. And to anyone else out there that I missed, sorry. Now if ya'll will excuse me, I'm going to blow my nose and put in a few drops of Visine.
  13. I don't know, but you've added yet another post. And while I know quality crushes quantity every time, you have both; a rising post count AND informative, passionate and emotional contributions to the Forum.... or would you spell that forom?
  14. no, I think you saw my "Baby on Board" sign. It's right next to the sticker that says "Don't laugh Meester, you're daughter might be in here" Hey, sunnysal will like this one: I Pay Ten Athletes a Year
  15. and while you're concidering things, conSider getting some help with that atrocious spelling, or at least learn how to use spellcheck. That's the little thingey that has ABC and a check mark by it. Or is concider a drink, like apple cider?
  16. It's sunburnwilly with a y , you big lug ... [] ps It's hard to believe wstrickland was taken , why the 1 ? [*-)] Dayummm it is. My bad. My wife says I'm an idiot, too. I mean, like at work, I'm one of the better managers, excellent problem solver, work out major screwed up details, sell and manage multi-million dollar HVAC projects all over SC, NC and GEorgia, but anywhere and everywhere else, I'm clueless as hell, a moron if you will. Possibly due to years of recreational drug use, some genetics and exhaustion. ANd the 1 thing, lmfao, it's my e-mail address so when I joined (to ask a question about my POS pro-media 4.1 amp) that's what I used. I had no idea that it would actually become a handle. Had I know that, maybe it would have been somethin like Gamecock Bill, or maybe gcocks1. Aah'ite den, I need to go run some instantaneous loads for an optical laboratory going up in NE Richland County. The mechanical engineers need my input in designing the 100% outside air systems. Those can be very tricky and it is very important that we select equipment with enough latent capacity and and reheat capability. Peace
  17. sorry, i was referring to the 901s. Sounds like that adcom will run them. I may try to score them, they do look nice. I've got Klipsch everywhere else, WTH, I might get freaky. Thanks
  18. if you were able to stress the tendons within the enclosure material, as in a post tension slab, to say, 10,000 psi you may be on to something. Hmm, how about a concrete box?
  19. how exactly does one get "banned" from a forum? I mean does Amy go take his computer away? He can be right back as Unicornfyr or Dragonwater or somethin' like that. Hmm, o well, bless his little heart.
  20. disregard the question I asked in the other thread, didn't see this one first. Well, cool, glad it worked out. I see my pack job was more than sufficient as you said. It looks good up there, not too big! Man, you need those CF 1s from Frawley, you'll be one happy dude. Then get gbrlex's KV4 for 6.1 Epic, and heck, it's still worth the extra hundred he's asking (people think I'm an a-hole cuz I LOVE to screw w/ peep's heads, but I do give good deals). Anyway, I'm really glad someone got it that will utilize it to it's fullest, which is between 2 Epics, a place it has never been. And cool how it worked out.....I sell an amp to sunburnwillie for a good deal, I buy a RC7 for a good deal, I sell you a KV4 for a good deal..........the World is round, Christobal!!!
  21. Tom, What do you drive them with? I have a 100 wpc Adcom,GFA 5 something or other, that I used as a rear channel amp before I got the B & K 200.7 so I don't really know what it is capable of. What do you think? I already pawned my behemoth Carver to SunburnW so that's pretty much all I would have to drive them. I'm making a workout room in the garage and might do them. WTH, sumpin different.
