  1. It's amazing the things that are almost forgetten.
  2. This good looking young man was not too far away from being our V.P. My wife was enamored with him as far as politicians go.
  3. Well, they're all big-time stars. Okay, maybe not Tuco, but is Yul Brynner a dog? And all the girls fell all over themselves at the sight or sound of Steve Perry. Was it just his voice?
  4. Okay, but this guy made alot of girls cry. He must fit the bill!
  5. Here's another baldie hunk! Are we getting any closer?
  6. Okay. Okay. Here's one for you. "So let it be written. So let it be done!"
  7. What about the dark-haired guy on Lord of the Rings? All the girls like him.
  8. No. If you want to post a pic that is on your computer drive, you need to attach it using the attach file feature at the bottom of the editor. If it is a link to a pic on the internet, I hear you can use the add pic feature.
  9. No real difference in values. Prices seem to reflect cosmetic condition (assuming good working order), plus or minus differences that people are willing to pay/accept. Year seems to make no difference. H stands for Heresy B stands for Birch W stands for Walnut O stands for Oil finish R stands for Raw finish (which have often been stained after their original purchase to the buyer's needs/preferences.
  10. I know there aren't too many ladies on this forum, so here's a start: []
  11. Is that right, JB? Wow! That's "Let's Dance" by Bowie. Next: "Wondering blindly How can they find me Maybe they don't even know My body is shaking Anticipating The call of the black footed crow..." Name that Tune!
  12. Okay, I know this is not a sitcom, but I remember well Marlin Perkins from the "Wild Kingdom" episodes. These were favorites on Saturdays.
  13. It's funny that nobody I know seems to remember Ultraman. That was big-time stuff when I was about 4 or 5 years old.
  14. Ray, I said that because I've never heard of Garbage. I figured for it to fit the bill, I probably should have at least heard of the band. I know alot of classic rock. Oh well.... Olorin, you be "Flirtin' with Disaster" thanks to Ray's narrowing it down! Next: "Save the strong lose the weak, never turning the other cheek. Trust nobody don't be no fool. Whatever happened to the golden rule?" Name that Tune!
  15. LOL, Chris! I'm a 42! However, I share your same problem. I wear suits to mediations, court and some (but not all) depositions. Blue Jeans and boots the rest of the time. I'd stay away from the Ferrari unless you have cash to burn on it. My deal is to live below my means to a significant degree so that I can choose to do whatever the heck I want when I want before I am 45. Fortunately, I'm on track. I just don't see the value in setting up a budget to buy whatever one's credit lets one afford. Just think of how many hours of life are committed to driving nice cars. Bundling all those hours together and getting them back would be like living in semi-retirement. If you're thinking like me at this point in my life, you begin to realize that mortality is serious and working too hard for artifacts (consumer goods) is an impediment to easy, early retirement. Plus, who wants to do the same thing for 30+ years anyway? I'm going to real estate after the house is paid for.
  16. Actually the word that comes to my mind is .. A55holes Yeah, they LOVE to hate your music, but wouldn't think twice if you were running a table saw. Tirds!
  17. I know what you mean by having components remain in your system just for looks. I kept my Onkyo cassette and tuner in just because "why not?" When I disconnected everything to move it recently, I just never included these back into the system. I kind of like going with the bare bones - what you need and use. Huge racks full of stuff take up space. Also, I like to marvel at how 3 measley components can rock your socks off.
