  2. Any of them the new v.2 version?
  3. 4:3 Monivision DM7752S or Princeton Graphics AR3.6TX 16:9 Monivision DM7352SF or Princeton Graphics AR3.4FTW These are really XGA monitors that are capable of 480p, 720p, 1080i, 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768 and can do 50 to 120Hz.
  4. Thanks guys I figured as much but I would be trading off a lot of desk space that I don't have with the larger speakers. While at the same time a bird in the hand.....
  5. I've had 4 RSX-5's & a RCX-4 on order since Sept. 10th and I'm getting a little fed up with waiting. I guess I'm a second class Klipsch fan. I ordered these to use with a Pioneer Elite 53TX and a v.2 PW-2200 through my PC for XBox and PC games. Has anyone compared the RB & RC 25's to the Reference Sats with all speakers set to small? I know the RB & RC 25's have a lower extension but my crossover will make that a non issue. I'm interested in which sound better and because I have not heard the Reference Sats it leaves me wondering if the new design has any other benifits to it other than looks and smaller size. Thanks.
  6. FYI your eye level should come up to the 1/3 mark on your screen.
  7. Pistol Pete I totally support your decision not to get the Ref Sats because one less purchase means I may be closer to getting mine. I ordered them a little over a month ago and there is still no sign yet. I hope I get them before they come out with new versions of the sub and receiver I also purchased. Sure has sucked having new gear that hasn't been sent yet due to waiting for the speakers to come in which btw could take another month to ship from my dealer to me in addition to this shipping delay. Yeah there will probably be new and improved Ref Sats out by the time I get mine. I don't think it takes much longer than this to get something from the Heritage line. To be honest if I could find another speaker to fit my needs (PC speakers) I would of canceled the order by now. Open to suggestions and don't say ProMedia Ultras or I'll puke.
  8. Guys I just played PC Halo online and if you liked it on the XBox you will love it on PC. 5 or 6 new multi-player levels, all can be used with vehicles, including the banshee which is awesome in Blood Gultch. 2 new multi-player weapons, flame thrower and some sort of plasma launcher...sweet!

    OMFG *loads gun*

Ear have you tried any of the BF 1942 mods? Eve Of Destruction, Forgotten Hope, and the latest version of DesertCombat rock. Galactic Conquest is a real nice Star Wars mod but limitted levels. I downloaded Action Battlefield, BF Pirates and Siege last night so I will try them soon. There are a few more I want to try which is why you have to love this game, the mods are great!
  10. Nothing yet! You guys aren't trying hard enough.
  11. Oh dude if only it were true I'd be laughing. Christmas will be here soon so I will force myself to sit at a desk drinking beer and fragging everyone for atleast a month then if I have any time left I will spend some with my parents. They understand I can only play online a few times a year so they don't mind too much.
  12. Ping is everything but may not be your problem because it should onle take a minute or so to connect or get the boot. A low ping is what you need. From 10 to 200 is what I would call a decent ping. A lot of online games can set a limit for the maximum ping they let play the game. This can vary from one game to the next but in my case with a ping of 600ms no one wants me to play. The problem you're describing sounds like one of two things, you don't have the latest patch for the game you are playing or you don't have the map the server ie running and your getting timed out while trying to download it.

If by standard RCA you mean composite (yellow, red & white)you will be losing big time. At any rate I do not connect video to the receiver and then to the TV because you will lose some picture quality. It may not be really noticable but the best connection to a video device, TV, projector, monitor is a straight connection from source to display.
  14. I've just returned from the hospital but was not admitted because they thought having a second seizure was unlikely. What a wallpaper design this would make. Imagine the whole room done in this and when people ask if you also see things moving on the wall tell them you have no idea what they are talking about.
  15. Thanks guys I knew I could count on you.
  16. Got your attention. Please stop buying Klipsch for one day so I can get my order here in Canada. I have had my new speakers on order for almost three weeks and I still don't know when they will be in because production can't keep up with the demand. Naturally being an American company, American orders are given first priority while Canadian orders are left up in the air. In addition to the three weeks I have been waiting and the still unknown arrival date at my dealer I also have an unpredictable shipping time from my dealer to my door which could also take a week to a month depending. I would guess Im looking at a minimum of a week or two to a maximum of a month or two and this is causing the pressure to build. Lets just say the ISO cells are getting full. If you would like to keep me from getting fired for unnecessary use of force please take a break from buying Klipsch speakers for one day. Thank you.
  17. Beer and wet t-shirt contests while you wait in line.
  18. Looks fine to me. Personally I would use two Western Digital Raptors if you want to go serial but what you got will do the trick. I'd also go bigger with the power supply if you plan to O/C because then you don't have to worry about weather or not your PS is holding back your O/C. Enermax is good and that is what I mostly use but I have had a few Antec and IMHO they are better. I know this sounds stupid because I use Enermax but that is because I get a good deal on them from the place I buy all my parts. If it makes you feel any better I have gotten more than a 1000Mhz O/C on a 350 Enermax but I didn't have much else in that machine.
  19. Battlefield 1942 is the game. With all the mods out I don't see anyone getting bored anytime soon, especially the Desert Combat mod. The great thing with Battlefield 1942 is that weather you like flight sims, driving games or FPS you can enjoy this game. Get in a server with I think 64 max players and it's retard city because there is so much going on it's insane. America's Army Online is also very good and it's a free download. This game was developed by the US army and even though it's free it's as good as any out there. Soldier Of Fortune II was a poor single player game but is very good online. Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield is also very good. To add even more fun download Roger Wilco so that you and your friends can talk to each other while you're playing. It really helps you to work as a team. When I play I use Roger Wilco and hook up with 5 or 6 Combat Arms soldiers from Pet cause these boys know all the real life tactics. Very fun! What really sucks for me is even though I have ADSL I get a ping of about 600ms because it's through satellite. Not to many people want you in their game with a ping like that. I live for my vacations and unless I'm down south I spend my vacations in front of a monitor with a mouse in one hand and a beer in the other. I'm going again soon so I built my father a new PC just so I won't have to use his PIII 450. It's a little extreme I know but I can only play a few times a year so I need a nice rig to enjoy it. I did the samething for my bro a couple of months ago when I was out his way. Who wouldn't want a free PC for a couple of months of internet time?
  20. RF-7, RF-5,and RF-35 are all very nice speakers. If you can aford it I think the RF-7's will put a smile on your face. Personally I would make a special trip to go and audition them as you could also be very happy with the RF-35's too. Even the older RF-3's and RF-3II's are great speakers and you might find a good deal so you can spend more cash on other components. Unless you live in a stadium any of the above mentioned speakers will blow your head off so out put should not be a concer but rather what sounds best to you. It's really kind of hard to screw this up because if you go for Reference or Heritage you will have a nice system. You may find you like one better than the other and it would suck to realize this after you make your purchase so take a road trip.
  21. I have an SC.5 in one of my bedroom setups and there is nothing wrong with this center for the money. Of course the SC-1 would be even better and it's not much more. Just wondering what you use for mains because this would be more of a deciding factor than anything else. The mains and center should be more of a match than the other speakers and considering that most of the sound comes from the center when watching a movie I would get the best matching center I could aford.
  22. I hear ya. I think I know what the wife is getting for Christmas.
  23. If you don't mind me asking what are Cornhorns?
  24. Go to avsforum.com and ask in the HTPC forum or one of the two Digital Projector forums. I can't remember which one but I know people over there are using what you are looking for. Good luck.
  25. Holy crap that's cheap for a digital SLR. Looks like it's time to buy another digital camera. That will be 3 this year.
