The Jubilees she would definetly notice, and she wouldn't be to happy about it either! I would definetly have to sell some "Klipsch stock" if I purchased them!

Well I'm being tactical here.....Hopefully (God willing) we will be moving in a Yr.... I'm thinking my Listeneing room/ Home theatre room can incorpotate the Jubilees. I have 3 Pairs of Korns and 2 pair of Blelle's that I was gonna use(4Khonrs, 3Bellles) for that purpose.The xtra Khorns will be used in another system ( Oh, by the way, I have 1 extra Belle if anyone is in need of one, email me). I always thought the Jubillee looked to "BIG" but I think w/ the black backround I will have, it would be OK. Or maybe just Keep my Heritage line (no slouch in the sound dept) and be Happy!

I'm sure someone might of posted a similar comparison but...... I Installed my ALK Trachorn,Xtreme crsover, and Crites tweeter in my 72 Khorns a few weeks ago. Holy SHT!! I could not believe the difference in sound! I have 2 Mac Mc2102 Bridged, C2300 peamp,Basis debut Vacuum table ,Graham Phantom arm, Dynavector XV1s,PS audio premier, 2 dedicated 20 Amp circuits , Kubala emotion cords and cables. A little history first..... Of course i thought my system was Great, I got intersted in trying out Kubala power cords as the "hype" was it makes a difference in the sound. Of course I was skeptical, borrowed a pair from Audioclassics and was AMAZED at how much better my stereo sounded....bought them immediatley, then came the Trachorns,ect..... My question is: how much better do the jubilles sound than my modded Khorns??? Is it that much? Has anyone experienced it side by side w/ modded Khorns?? They do look intimidating to say the least! Any answers will be much appreciated!!

Well I stand to be corrected! Not the first time I opened my mouth and inserted foot! I just have a hard time believing that if you are paying for something (expensive) and beautiful to boot you would want it paired w/ something that meets the criteria both aestetically (is that how you spellit)?? and sonically. But to each his own! Tigerwoods..... Would you believe that I never even hooked them up!! I'm using my 72 khorns and I meant to use yours in conjuction w/ my Belles for a 7.7 room. Courese things didn't go as planned

I don't think ANYONE who has laid down 20K (let alone 10K) for a pair of speakers would even CONSIDER a QSC or Crown!! A pair of speakers like the Palladiums need to be paired w/ an equally fine sounding amp.....like a MAC!! I mean ,come on......!!

I remember reading here that one of the best mods to do is to rewire Khorns w/ solid silver. So I figured what the heck! I Used Cardas solid silver speaker wire (not very flexible). It seemed to sound better, but not really sure.....

So Frzinvt,what do you sugest for an amp?? Also thanks for the responses, I am leaning towars the ss Mac,but like i said i want as muc input as possible and hopefully can do this 1 time. Thanks Guys!

Ok, this is my situation. I have 3 pairs of Khorns 2 pair of belles , w/ Trachorns ALK crossovers. In the amp dept I have 2 MC 2102 tube amps and 1 MC 2000 Millenium. My theatre room will be approx. 18 ft wide by 22 ft long. I want to incorporate my speakers for the theatre,now: is this ovekill for the size of the room?? Is 7.1 "Necessary", Is there a big difference in sound? Should I go with the MAC 7 channel SS amp? The front end w/ also serve as my 2 channel stereo. I do not want to sell my speakers to get smaller ones or should I explore the possibilities? Any suggetions and thoughts would be appreciated as I want to do this ONCE! Thanks!

Here's a pic of one of my factory Khorns, obviously regrilled, The pics came out bad and this is the best one. I had another pair revennered in Flamed maple, the good guys at Audioclassics are gonna deliver em to me in the next week or so. I'll post pics when they arrive and more of my Krosewoods. They clam they came out Fabulous!!

I would have to agree w./ mrj. Keep the speakers......I seriously doubt anyone would sell theirs for $2500 or less!!

Ok,heres the dillema. I'm using Khorns for the mains, Belles' or Khorns for the rear. Now, I wanted to use another Belle for the center speaker and Put a plasma on top of it. My wife doesn't think it will look good and frankly I think shes right. What are your suggestions? I'm using Mac 2102 tube amps ,but I might use their 5 channel amp for HT use. 'm sticking to 5.1 quite simply cause thats all the room I have, and I don't here much of a difference anyway....

Sorry i haven't touched base,but computer Died......Anyway, the 27th is probably out for me as it is my weekend to work (everyother weekend off) I will not know for sure until the day before,but don't be optimistic....

Your dealing with a "buisness" of course you will pay more compared to Joe blow.....Audioclassics is a TOP notch dealer who goes the extra mile and stands behind EVERYTHING they sell.
