  1. No need, we all have to start somewhere so ask any and every question you need to.... Yes, the speaker will just be sitting on the stand, gravity will hold it in place. So you will have to look for something with a top plate that the speaker can sit on. Like the always used quote, you get what you paid for. I never had speaker stands so I can't really help with which brand is made better but if you do a search on a model that you like you can see if it comes up with a few hits. Again it all comes down to what you really like and how much you want to spend. James
  2. Welcome to the forum.... That's great to hear that you purchased Klipsch speakers for your dad. A few places that are talked about for speakers stands are. Racks and Stands Stands and Mounts Now I have never purchased from either place but they do have a good selection of products and you can find something and then search the web for a lower possible price. One thing about the B-2, it doesn't have a threaded insert so the stand base should be a decent size to support it. Also a great place for wires of any kind is MonoPrice. Don't believe every salesman that there is on;y one top speaker wire brand. Have a great time with this setup... James
  3. Looks good, post some pictures and let us know how you like them. James
  4. Here is a wall mount that you can use for your RS-52. They can be angled and turned, I have similar ones for my RS-62 and they are perfect. As far as the center channel speaker, where are you going to have it located to your TV, is that picture the correct placement? If it is you can always get a shelving unit and use the single bolt on the bottom to angle the speaker. You might want to put a piece of wood on the front of the shelf just in case, so the speaker can't slide or move off. James
  5. I have to say that the RF-83 setup has it's purpose as does the two Cornwall setups and the Heresy setup. All different in what they do but share one common thing, that great Klipsch sound.... I enjoy them on a daily basis.... [H] James
  6. Russ, So, it's been a week, whats your thoughts on this setup compared to your heritage ones? James

  9. Welcome to the forum... At first I thought you had an all La Scala HT with that title. How about La Scala's. Do a search for Indyklipschfan, a member here, he has an all La Scala HT and it sounds great. What size room is this in? Is it only for HT setup? Where do you live, maybe someone close has some speakers for sale that might work out for you. James
  10. For me I have carpet but that is coming up in the fall, then just being placed on the hardwood floor. The thought of those same felt pads might do the trick and might help them slide a little when cleaning is needed... Plus a little safe then sorry if something was to happen. James

  15. Congrats on the speaker purchase and Welcome to the forum..... jrod, gave you the info that you need about the upward angle of your center speaker. Post some pictures of your setup when you get everything up and running. James
  16. That was and is still my current problem... I did try the single point angle for an hour and didn't like the fact that all the weight of the beast was on that single point... What I was thinking, getting a piece of 1x the same width of the speaker and cutting a miter on one side to wedge it under the speaker. That way the weight is still distributed the entire length instead of the single point, also it could be painted or stained to blend in more. James
  17. Yes I am.... Man thanks for reminding me how old I am, 6th grade in '93 wow...... [] James
