  5. These couldn't have went to a better guy! Bill, it was GREAT getting to chat with you. I'm sure everyone here already knows this, but Bill is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet ( right behind Youthman:-). Glad you like them- Enjoy!!
  6. Yeah, this has been happening a lot here as well. There is a klipsch "flipper" just down freeway from me who must scan craigslist all day long. I've been trying to slowly build back my system since my divorce. There was a mint pair of cherry RF-5's for $400 ( his asking price, but I'm sure he sold them for less) and I called within 30 minutes and they were already sold. A short time later, they were listed on this forum:-( That wasn't the first time the "flipper" beat me out on a good deal only to re-sell them. Almost everything he sells here has been bought on craigslist to be flipped. I gave up after he bought the RF-5's.
  7. Yeah, hate it when that happens. Happened to me a couple years back, so now I only give deals to forum members that actually contribute.

  9. Unfortunately, I'm gonna have to pass:( Best of luck with your sale!
  10. Thnx for the info! I'll know more in the next day or so. But anyone interested should really jump on this before I do! Would definitely want/ need double box, so the first shipping quote more prob more accurate.
  11. Where are you located? Shipping cost to zip 98387? Looks like its in great shape! Does it get warm/ hot and do you use a fan?
  12. Please guys, stop flooding my inbox about the RB-35's. This offer was to help out a friend. These are not on the market. Sorry, should have just PM'd him I guess...
  13. I wouldn't recommend rear ported speakers in a cabinet, but if they can be on a shelf with some breathing room behind them, would be a sweet front stage!
  14. Hey Buddy! If you can't find any on that list, I have a nice pair of RB-35's with boxes I'd let go for a good price. Although shipping would probably cost a fortune. If interested, shoot me a PM.
  15. Sweet deal! Did you wall mount it or is on the the same stand as the 55"?
  16. What's wrong with foam? BTW Rob, great job on the room! Bet is sounds as good as it looks[Y]
  17. I JUST went through the same situation. I have RF-5's as my mains so keep that in mind. I first purchased a RC-62 to see how it would match up with my mains. To my suprise, it sounded great! Fit perfectly in my TV stand and blended very well. Then, I found a great deal on a RC-64 ( first version) and decided to sell my 62 and give the 64 a try. I figured I was upgrading since it was a much larger speaker and cost alot more. At first, it sounded absolutely horrible! Then I noticed that one of the jumpers on the back was off, so I figured once that was fixed it would sound much better. I still wasn't very happy and didn't consider this an upgrade. After a month or two of TRYING to like it, I decided to sell it and buy a RC-62 II. To me, this is an upgrade. I'm VERY happy with it and do not plan on upgrading anytime soon. Maybe my ears aren't used to "sealed" speakers. It just sounds more detailed, has better clarity and doesn't sound "muffled". Of course this is just my opinion and you may LOVE the 64. Just wanted to share my thoughts. Good luck
  18. Hey nezff, where did you get that stand? I also have a 73" Mitsubishi and RC-64. Been looking EVERYWHERE for a stand to not only fit the TV, but the 64 as well. BTW-- That room looks sweet! Nicely done
  19. What do you have for a display? The RC-64 is HUGE and can support the weight of almost all LCD's and plasmas. Could you get away with puting your display on the 64?
  20. Probably wouldn't hurt to call 1-800-KLIPSCH. Ask for parts dept..
  21. That's mighty nice of you Vital. I'll let you know when it arrives[Y]
