I know the RF-3-II's, RC-3-II's and RB-5-II's were all labeled "with Monstercable" believe that was the only differences between them and the original versions maybe the higher end models; RF-5, RF-7, RC-7 & RB-75 came with the cable from the start along with real wood veneer?
Fwiw, the RB-5IIs also used real wood veneer and I remember Klipsch advertising Monster Cable in the 2nd versions of the lower end Reference (RF-62II/RF-82II) that were released of those speakers...I was only surprised understanding it was a marketing tool for those speakers and hadn't actually thought about it in regard to my speakers...Btw, we have the RF-3s at another location and thought they were real wood veneer. Dunno, but can't check right now.

Mine actually has a MonsterCable decal on the rear panel
Interesting. I now gotta admit I looked at the back of mine and they read the same. Learn something new everyday. I stand corrected.

Original RF-7s we're replaced by RF-83s in the early 2000s. Then they reintroduced the RF-7 Classics with cosmetic changes while the RF-83s were still in production. Then came the RF-7IIs without the black dust covers and cosmetic changes, along with it harder to pull the crossovers, followed by the RF7IIIs that came out 3 or 4 years ago. Fwiw, I don't remember any being advertised with Monster Cable, although the Classics may have been...That's how I remember it.

Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum, I hope to learn a lot of useful things here.
Which in your opinion klipsch series is the best?
Welcome to the forum. Are you looking for Home Theater or 2 channel?

I think the MK2 may use Monster speaker wire but they are essentially the same.

Fwiw, I think one should consider an amp/AVR that's rated to drive 4 Ohm Speakers (If you are going to listen @ high SPLs) and not necessarily the Watts per channel. That's my take.

So many misconception of power needs of real efficient horn speakers
True. Otoh, the RF-7 has a horn tweeter, but 2 10" LF drivers so the efficiency of the horn needs to be mated to those drivers which evidently needs more power to drive. It seems to give the speaker a more jagged Frequency Response Curve and doesn't make the RF-7 a legitimate 8 Ohm speaker....

strange , my RF7 EvoTec need only 3 to 5 watts amplifier power
Does that mean it's more about the current delivered than thinking in terms of watt-per-channel? Fwiw, I'm a multichannel music/home theater guy and feel the impedance dips in the RF-7s was what one should consider (along with max volume) when matching a power source. That's my 2 cents.

What do you think is Klipsch's best subwoofer? New or old
The ones I mentioned have the best reputation although the
Dual THX models were up there if you got a good amp. I have no experience with the newer models but when you get over 10 years I'd be concerned with the amp going.

None of the older Klipsch subs are sought after. They're not terrible but they're nothing to get excited over either.
Fwiw, I bought the RSW 12 & 15 new exactly 20 years ago and they really are considerably better than the KSW line or anything since, imo. The RSW-15 weighs 85 lbs, has a 650 watt continuous/2400 watt dynamic Bash digital hybrid amp and hits pretty tight in the lower end. They both are still going strong and gotta admit I'm surprised...Of course, buying that old of a sub used is a gamble. That's my take.

Another thing to check is that your terminal jumpers for the speaker wire is connected.

yeah , Traditional Chinese Medecine , https://www.petersheng.com/embracing_yin_and_yang/
Fwiw, that dude is using Taoism in medicine, just as folks seem to be doing here in audio--both are appropriate to the one who finds deeper meaning. That's my take.

I think the joke is more about the billions in cash we have given Ukraine while ignoring our own people. Not really funny at all when you think about it long enough.
Not that simple nor that funny...Fwiw, I don't think supporting Ukraine has kept any funding away from the American people.

This flowed well. Any idea of a ballpark cost including $100 insured? {Edit Note: I will follow the link chain but curious before going that route.}

I’ve watched other movies with current setup with no problems.
Have you checked your speaker connections? Sounds like it could also be a wire touching at the avr or the speaker.

Yeah, you could change the channel, but to what? They are all doing it, even Fox. You have to really dig deep to find an outlet that just reports the news. They are out there, but not at your fingertip.
Fwiw, I think our biggest problem is people don't pay attention to REAL News if they don't agree with what's being reported from/about The people in the News.
Does equipment, speakers and electronics, sound better after some hours on them.

Honestly, this topic has been discussed over several threads through the decades and Klipsch engineers seemed to say the LF drivers measure pretty close out of the box and any perceived harshness would come out of the horn, which should be unchanged. Regardless, after your effort you're now enjoying your speakers it's a win/win!
