Since it plays directly through my Onkyo receiver I can't change the settings in the app. I wonder what the bit rate is on the Onkyo? I'll dig around a little and see if I can find out.

I just downloaded Spotify premium and have to say I am impressed. I have only listened on the outside system so far but the quality seems fine. Anyone else have any comments or opinions?

Like I mentioned earlier in the thread, this MDF is of lesser quality than I am used to. I didn't know there were differences.

Thanks for that heads up! I've had success in the past but I think I rushed this one a little. If I remember correctly I wiped the surfaces with a damp cloth between each sanding to raise the grain. I'm sure I sanded them four or five times plus wet sanded between primer coats.

I would mount them both speakers where your dot on the right is aiming them to the grill area. They should have no problem filling that space with sound and will probably image nicely under the covered patio. I think you will have a trade off somewhere between the two areas with only one pair of speakers. This placement should minimize any ill effects.
